‘22 inspires me for ‘23… I completed my MS in clinical mental health counseling. During this time I served a broad population in need of mental health & range of diagnoses
I learned, utilized, & practiced many interventions, theories, & approaches All of which came second to the incredibly rewarding experience that each day brought sitting in front of these amazing souls at their most vulnerable or even sometimes their best & knowing I get to be there for it & support them through it was such an honor I gained so much perspective and my worldview changed in this time & I continued to uplevel my service to my clients within my own business I also passed my national certified counselor exam right before graduating with summa cum Laude (4.0 gpa for my MS) & using this to just focus on expanding my business & the purpose I am serving in the fitness world As I shared yesterday, the exponential increase in number of events & contribution opportunities have only flourished but beyond that this was the best year in business I made the most impact I’ve ever made with # of people served directly & indirectly, my podcast hit 1.2 million unique downloads, 464k of which were in 2022 alone🤯, & I was able to give my incredible assistant more tasks (couldn’t do it all w/o her) During this, I competed in 4 shows, 1 of which was a national show & I brought my absolute best by the end of the season after the help of my amazing coach, saw my sister & best friend get married, left a 7 year relationship that required me to finally see & honor what I deserved & no longer would tolerate for myself, had bigger spiritual breakthroughs since my mom’s passing, saw my sister @graceeeeee3 & my bff @creation_movement both marry the loves of their life, went on an epic family vacation through the keys, and finished the year connecting with my absolute dream man @mrwyckedshaun who I’m loving growing with🫶🏼 While most of my days look the same year to year with the focus always being on the mission to help others #BUILDMORETHANJUSTABODY it amps me up to reflect on the growth! I can only imagine what this year will be as I learn to reprioritize aspects of myself along with my business
