![]() Many of the competitors I have worked with who struggle with the post show blues all have this one thing in common They don’t think about the rest of their life when they’re in prep mode They set a date for a show and go hard with all their energy and focus here This makes many champions and is absolutely necessary for any prep. I believe if you’re not all in you are all out But, to not think about other life goals or plans for after a show is actually doing your future competitor self a disservice Many women suffer after a show feeling lost, like they have a hangover or are coming off a high, and as if they have nothing to work for Because, well, they haven’t chosen anything else As mentioned, this is something I’ve had to work with many competitors through Literally setting new goals, finding things in life to be excited about, and taking them through my life evaluation system & core soul codes exercise to make sure the new goals are ones that excite them as much as stepping on stage And no, this doesn’t mean the healthy lifestyle goes out the window. That’s part of the goal setting. Supporting the next version of you for your next prep & current off season or time off! Most of us tend to feel like we have everything together when we are prepping for a show Because we have to. Set schedules, routine eating, dialed in gym and posing sessions You can’t miss any of it. No slacking And that’s how other parts of our life can and really need to be too The no slacking mentality can serve us well as long as we have a lot to look forward to Otherwise, we get eaten alive by our own mind and since we aren’t all in anymore, what happens?
