7 THINGS TO DO FOR YOUR HEALTH OUTSIDE OF YOUR NUTRITION AND EXERCISE [INFOGRAPHIC INCLUDED]9/12/2018 ![]() There is so much more to health than what we most often see defining it on a day to day basis through social media, magazines, &/or influencers. It makes it easy for us to forget that our body needs so much more TLC given its millions of functions it has just to keep us alive (a pretty important job if you ask me!). So why do we neglect to recognize ways to keep ourselves healthy outside of the usual eat your veggies, sleep well, & exercise? A lot of it comes down to how we as individuals define 'healthy' for ourselves, but I also know those thought patterns or beliefs can easily be influenced by our environment or what we consume on a daily basis... Because of this, I decided to compile a little reminder checklist for you to go through & see where you could be doing better for yourself, improve on, or focus on more. This list is still not inclusive of all that we can do or should be conscious of but it is definitely a list of things I feel are easily forgotten but also easily implementable when remembered; 1.Schedule an appointment with your doctors.
Like I said, there are SOOOOO many things we can be doing to manage our health more & stay on top of it outside of exercise & nutrition. You may surprise yourself with how healthy you really feel when you start prioritizing more of these types of things. It may not be realistic to do ALLLLL the things ALLLLL the time or ALLLLL at once. But at least get it all out on paper, then chunk it down by setting a target for yourself! Maybe pick one thing to focus on for each month of the year. So maybe September is about Nature, October is about finances, November is about natural products, & December is about making sure you got all your doctors visits in for the medical year. See where I’m going with this? Let me know what you are going to do today, or focus on this month for your health OUTSIDE of exercising or more nutrient dense fuel for your body! Personally, I sat down the other day and titled my paper, areas of health which I need to put more attention to and I was shocked by how much I have let go by the wayside given my extreme commitment to my sport, but I am also proud of myself for being proactive NOW and choosing to be objective enough to see my faults and DO something about them. My doctor appointment has been scheduled and other things are in the works which makes me and my body feel uber loved and cared for! I would love to hear how you go with this and what your main takeaways are! What are you planning to commit to now? let me hold you accountable! If you tell me what you are planning to do for your health outside of exercise and nutrition, I will hold you to it! If you need help or guidance through this process to your own healthiest lifestyle, shoot me an email at: celeste.rainsturk@gmail.com or feel free to message me on social media so we can figure out the best plan of action for you.
