SPEAK UP. SHARE YOUR STRUGGLE. THE WORLD NEEDS TO HEAR IT!
THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION; BEING HUMAN AS A HUMAN BEING...
I am not ashamed to admit that I underwent therapy for my extreme depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts (which triggered my anxiety).
But I was ashamed to ask for help, for years I tried to address an inner problem with physical work that led me to run in circles putting new band-aids on a wound that needed serious surgery and stitches and healing all along.
I am not going to allow my ego to shut me up while I write this openly and tell you the process never ends and the strength grows when we LET GO of our preconceived beliefs and admit that we NEED help, even I have to admit it, see it, and accept it for myself, regardless of how far I have come!
And guess what?! that girl you follow on instagram, that influencer you look up to, your favorite podcast host, the repeat champion, these people are struggling too!
It may be a different struggle but fact shows they are human, therefore they have a mind, therefore they have mental blocks which can and do present themselves to which that person chooses (or unfortunately doesn't) to GO THROUGH this struggle.
How beautiful it is to know that in this world full of more than 7 BILLION people, there is both triumph and struggle for EVERYONE!
Unfortunately, many psychological disorders go untreated or misdiagnosed because we don't talk about what we are going through.
I am currently researching body dysmorphic disorder which is a clear example of a disorder usually associated with shame and embarrassment or fear of judgment (similar to OCD, depression, and anxiety) making it much more difficult for someone to bring up to their doctor or a specialist to help them get through.
It breaks my heart to know that we live in a world with people who WANT to hear others share more openly and vulnerably yet HIDE their own vulnerabilities and suffering.
While there are plenty of people who won't understand what you are going through or maybe who don't appear to want to hear about your struggles because of their own insecurities and discomfort with theirs...
THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO CAN HELP YOU and who NEED TO HEAR IT FOR THEIR OWN JOURNEY!
With that being said, I encourage you to;
1. Ask for help if you need it
2. Vulnerably share your struggles so others can feel supported in theirs knowing that EVERYONE goes through hardships (influencers especially need to be doing more of this)
3. Be willing to receive and accept what you openly ask for. if you wish people would be more 'real' and 'raw' then open your energies up so the vibe you radiate into the world affirms to others that it IS OKAY to SHARE and Ask for help or Celebrate adversity...!
YOU. ARE. IMPORTANT.
YOU. ARE. NOT. AN ACCIDENT.
YOU. HAVE. A. PURPOSE.
The blessing that is your soul is having a magical human experience that brings both undeniable pain and pleasure.
Your soul is yours, and as a soul you have a very big responsibility to bare yourself to the world to carry out your mission and purpose.
If you hide the struggle of your soul, you are actually hiding your entire being.
If you hide the success of your soul, you are actually hiding your entire being.
When you celebrate and openly share both the struggle and the success you allow your soul (and even your body honestly... because of hormones and other physiological processes impacted by this behavior) to reach homeostasis, or balance, to which you can lead this life optimally making a powerfully beautiful impact on others (even if it is not apparent in the moment)
You are also inspiring a beautiful impact on your own ability to live this life and take your soul to its utmost and divine capabilities because you are truly free and connected to the experience of being a human...
So share your story, share your struggle, support others in theirs, and be okay with the discomfort it brings you, be willing to go through the pain of fighting your ego, be willing to hear what others have to say, and be willing to do this and let go of fear of how it impacts the world's perception of you.
Most importantly, adopt a belief for yourself that encourages you to do these things and makes you feel great about doing so.
This could be something like, "I know and I trust that by sharing every aspect of my human experience I am not only helping other souls through theirs but I am opening myself up to more growth, more connection, and more healing for my own journey with things, people, and vibrations which support me in my physical and metaphysical planes of this life."
I felt called to share this as the more I struggle the more I see the importance of sharing the struggle and truly seeking to connect with others so we can all come out on top.
I felt a nudge upon seeing how much people hide and don't share as I found myself asking questions in my head about people who seemed to be living the ultimate life on paper but knowing with all good there is some bad, so what is it for them?
Keeping in mind that everyone goes through things differently, copes differently, heals differently, expresses differently, and learns differently I recognize that this can be seen and done in the world in many ways...
...the point is less about the "how" in being vulnerable and more about the "what" we are looking to achieve.
Embracing that we are Human Beings.
Let's focus on more of the 'Being', so we can enjoy more of the 'Human' experience.

“THEY DON’T GET IT!”
I was talking to a client the other day about some of her struggles with people not truly understanding her goals and her being so committed to her fitness journey.
While we were talking she brought up the fact that so many people just assume that someone is focused on working out and eating well so they can have a hot body or change their physical appearance in some way shape or form.
Unfortunately this is something we have been taught to believe. That the only reason to eat well and to exercise or the only reason people do choose to is to change their body’s looks.
This is just not the case for most people though. Sure, a lot of people are inspired by having the better body but it’s truly just a bonus to something so much deeper.
For many people, there are hidden health complications that we may not see on surface level (yet) like stress, anxiety, depression, hormonal imbalances, diabetes, or even the unseen risk level someone is at of developing a deadly disease or condition.
A lot of people need an escape from their hectic reality to reconnect with themselves and let go of inner pain.
A lot of people just don’t want to end up like a family member or many family members which has made them predisposed so they want to control what they know they can which is their lifestyle.
A lot of people need a boost of confidence or strength or inner fulfillment and reward.
THERE ARE SO MANY REASONS FOR SOMEONE TO START THEIR JOURNEY AND GO ALL IN WITH IT.
For those of you who have been following me for awhile you know I have ZERO issue with starting Fitness to change your body shape and aesthetics.

Being physically fit takes WORK!
The energy you are willing to put in will reflect in the results you get out.
There’s extreme forms of the lifestyle and there are less extreme forms.
Nothing is ‘wrong’ necessarily. It’s all about what works for YOU!
You hear this a lot yes but how many programs, coaches, and trainers are truly real with you about what this means?
I like to explain it to my clients in many ways depending on who they are but essentially Fitness is something you don’t just achieve after x weeks and call it a day and poof your results stay with you forever.
It’s constant effort and energy.
Once you’ve lost fat, you must be consistent to keep it off.
Once you’ve gained muscle, you must be consistent to keep it on or gain more.
Once you’ve adjusted your habits you must stay consistent to help your body function optimally.
Considering that there are MANY ways to achieve a goal, the question becomes less of,
“What is the best program to get me there fast?”
And instead has to become,
“What is the best program to get me there while still allowing me to feel empowered, healthy, fulfilled, and satisfied in every area of life that I would like to prioritize?”
And being okay with your answer changing is a HUGE deal!
For some people it might mean being as extreme as taking it to the stage and for others it might be more low key and about tuning into their intuitive eater or healing their relationship with food and going to the gym only a few times a week for less than 1hour.
Both generate results, but they can come with a different pace and set of action items.
What are you ACTUALLY willing to 100% COMMIT to right now?
Fitness and truly living in and loving on your body is about LONGEVITY.
It’s about not only nailing it on the professional programming but also nailing it on the connection between the programming that’s right for your goals and the programming that’s right for your ideal lifestyle.
No matter what your goals are though, proper programming and progression is ABSOLUTELY VITAL to achieving your goals.
This is undeniable.

Build More than Just a Body
To anyone out there suffering in silence being told your mental illness isn’t real, I stand with you and for you; this message is not just for you but for the people of world choosing to shame and disregard you....
Depression, is real.
Anxiety, is real.
Whatever you’re feeling, is real and is justified.
You are human, and some humans struggle more than others with their mental health.
Some people don’t have normal functioning hormone regulation.
Some people can’t explain why they feel suicidal or scared all of a sudden or happy one minute and sad the next.
Some people can’t explain why they want to hide and shy away from what others would describe as ‘no big deal’.
Some people have no idea why they feel the way they do, it just takes over.
Maybe that’s you.
Maybe you understand this or know what I’m talking about.
Maybe you are silently holding yourself high trying to love yourself deeply in a world full of people trending about why your emotions, your disorder, your illness, your struggles ‘are made up’ or ‘are within your control’ or ‘are not real’.
You are loved and understood by many, don’t forget that what you are going through IS real.
And more importantly, it is TREATABLE and you are STRONG for seeking help, getting treated, or talking about what you are going through.
You can rise up, you can make it through, you can and will come out on top. It’s possible, it’s within reach.
And in the meantime, myself, and many others who understand this, are here for YOU and your journey.

Our inner child can teach us sooo much.
Just think about children outside of yourself and their playful, fun, totally IN THE MOMENT energy they embody.
Children allow themselves to feel EVERYTHING right there in the moment whether it’s random laughter, bursting tears, or anger...
THIS is what our inner child wants for us. To embody a playful, real, vulnerable, open, loving, fun, curious, invincible energy that is untamable but totally fragile in the most beautiful way.
Every day, most people live the same routine over and over and can get caught up in this and lose their presence within their gift of life.
Connecting with your inner child is, in essence, connecting with the energies of your child self.
Some of you may not have beautiful childhood memories, which can make embodying your child self a little painful, BUT this is sooo powerful for your healing journey as it will allow you to release many of the negative energies you carry and instead fully embrace the child spirit within you.
There are 2 powerful inner child exercises that stand out to me that I would love to share with you.
The best exercise I ever did for inner child work was at random and I cannot teach it to you because it takes away from its beauty but it is something I do with my clients on breakthrough sessions when necessary.
#1 is all about asking your inner child for advice and help. Closing your eyes or pulling them out of your pocket or from your back and plopping them in front of you.
#2 is all about connecting with the energy of your inner child and what they wanted/sought to then help you see what still carries over.

Beyond the obvious physical transformation, there are things you should know about this journey...
My journey through competing hasn't been all that glamorous, this is the transformation behind the transformation...
In 2015 I did my first bikini competition.
I had so much fun in the prep but felt alone on show day and didn’t really connect with anyone. I also placed second to last and dead last And felt totally uninspired. I loved being on stage and couldn’t wait to step back on everytime i stepped off but to be honest I didn’t really like the whole aspect and said I’d prob never compete again.
I gained 30 pounds in 3 weeks after that and had a terrible relationship with food and my body. I didn’t feel myself. I lost touch with healthy living because I only could equate my success to an extreme lifestyle of competing.
I couldn’t find a middle ground and lost myself. I was still lifting and training and Called it a “bulk” for awhile even though it was a lot of up and down hell through recovering from depression, anxiety, my horrific body image, my toxic relationship with myself and food and literally so much darkness.
Then after lots of personal development, mindset work, education, therapy, and learning lessons through my healing, building my business to help people all over the world to build more than just a body and transform their lifestyles to one of self-love instead of self loathe.
I knew my mind was FINALLY right to step on stage again and I felt inspired and 100% about doing so knowing it wouldn’t impact my relationship with myself or my body because of all the healing I did.
Plus, I learned so much I felt very invincible to troubles that I had been through before because I truly took the time to learn the lessons that they were meant to teach me!
So, August rolled around and I stepped on stage with the help of Team Edge. I fell ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE with competing and found so much fun in it because I had done the inner work needed to truly heal and be fully ready mentally and emotionally.
Then I decided to do two back to back shows in February after a VERY successful reverse out of my August show with NO negative implications like my first show other than finally deciding to have my lady issues sorted through by a professional to make sure my health and hormones were under control.
The point is, the progression you see physically would not have been possible WITHOUT the inner work. Seriously, I’d argue that the inner work is what allowed me to achieve the results I have and continue to everyday.
And to be completely transparent, your physical reality will never change at the rate or optimal level it can without aligning them with the inner work first.
If you want to generate absolute EPIC results in your reality you MUST be willing to transform from within first.
It might be painful, and hard, and cause a lot of inner turmoil but when you come out on top, stronger, healthier, more empowered, more aligned, vibing at a higher frequency, YOU WILL SEE THAT REFLECT EXTERNALLY and create things BEYOND your imagination in your current identity.
It’s time to grow, it’s time to unleash the greatest version of yourself, it’s time to make it happen... YOU ARE WORTHY OF YOUR BEST SELF AND YOUR BEST LIFE!

Everyone is so focused on changing the external world in hopes it will solve their inner strife.
People struggle with their body image and blame magazines.
People lose sight of the present moment and blame it on technology.
People gain weight and over eat and dig into the unhealthy foods and blame the fast food industry.
People have low self esteem and blame the models and celebrities.
People don’t go to the gym or workout or move their body and claim time is the problem.
The examples could continue for days but the point is that no one is as in control of your life as you are. In fact, You have the power to literally change your life at any given moment and choose a new story.
The problem rarely lies outside of us. And even though external things will challenge us, they don’t dictate how we react.
If you succumb to the outside world being what determines your quality of life then things will not ever change for you because, I hate to break it to you, and I don’t necessarily love this, but the world is always going to have bad things, bad ideas, bad people, bad whatever, BUT with that also comes a WHOLE LOT MORE GOOD!
Focus on what you want to find more of and it will amplify in your life.
Imagine a world where EVERYONE consciously chose to focus more on the POSITIVES rather than the negatives. A world where people PRIORITIZE themselves and their happiness and inner peace. A world where people LOVE to spend time on their growth and mindset and inner work.
Wouldn’t that be frikkin AMAZING!? It could only lead to MORE positives in the external world.
Often times the external darkness we face is a reflection of inner wounds that need our love and attention.
Heal your inner world and watch the outer world begin to heal too.

It’s okay to breakdown and cry or scream just like it’s okay to break out in laughter or song.
If someone questions you, “what are you doing...” let them know that you’re “being human”.
They will understand, (even if they don’t actually express acceptance or approval during your outbursts) after all, we’re all humans, we are all experiencing this life.
Being kind to yourself is being kind to your soul.
You can be happy in an unhealthy body, with a lifestyle that doesn’t optimize your time as a soul having a physical experience living life to the fullest.
You can be happy in a healthy body, with a lifestyle you love and which optimizes your potential to enjoy life to the fullest as the unique and amazing light being you are.
When we make it about our experience as a soul and not about our shape, the shape will come naturally because we will be vibing at a frequency that is prideful in how we treat our bodies so much so that the way we eat, the way we move, and the way we think is aligned with the highest, healthiest, most empowered, free, and fulfilled self.
