In less than one month I’ll be in New York speaking to other amazing online fitness coaches about growing their online business.
None of this would be possible without this man right here. AJ Mihrzad was my first mentor ever and has been an amazing friend ever since.
We have grown so much together and I am so grateful for all of his support over the years and the memories we have made.
Our fun, exciting, inspiring, and deep conversations are always transformational whether it be through an uplifting in my mood or a massive breakthrough, it never gets old.
When I first spoke with him I didn’t even know what a lead was and now I am lucky to be working along side him helping other Fitness coaches to grow their impact in this world.
AJ is the best I’ve ever seen when it comes to giving beyond expectation. People leave this seminar every 6 months feeling fired up and knowing they can take action. And the people who actually work with him, that’s a whole other level of excellence.
I cried for days straight when AJ called me to tell me he was going to do everything in his power to get me to NY and he gifted me this incredible opportunity to step on stage again, but more importantly to be apart of the profound growth and connection that takes place at his supercoach seminars.
I could go on and on about him and what he’s been able to do for myself and others but I think it’s best if you see for yourself...
When I took this photo I was so happy! I could see all my dedication, discipline, and commitment paying off!
The results of pushing harder than ever brought me the most aesthetic body I’ve ever had. This was the leanest I’ve ever been the day before my February 3rd show and I had no idea when I took this that I’d get even tighter, leaner, and bring an even better package to the stage back to back the following week.
But I wasn’t just happy because I was ripped or could see my abs or had a booty outline and could wear tight shirts and crops that made me feel free and sexy in my skin.
Most of the happiness I had from this time didn’t come from my body.
In fact, my body was really bringing me down in the sense of function, energy levels, and fatigue. I was constantly sore every day (no exaggeration), cried a lot, and couldn’t even sit down on the floor without a pad underneath me, I was weakening and fragile. This didn’t make me thrilled.
Obviously to win and place and grow in this sport you HAVE to build a top notch physique or you lose.
It Takes extreme levels of commitment and desire and action to make this happen.
BUT! To win, internally, to be fulfilled and empowered comes from something entirely different... I’m more committed and driven than ever to my goals of being the BEST athlete i can possibly be, to one day step on the Olympia and the Arnold stages, by the idea of taking myself to new limits I didn’t even know existed for me to then smash through and grow more.
I’m happy in this body in this photo just like I’m happy now, growing and strong and still healthfully lean without putting on too much harmful body fat too quickly.
But these variables are such a small part of the equation. Sometimes it even drives me insane that I care soooo much and love it sooo much and am sooo committed.
When reflecting on why, it always brings me back, this is for ME, my personal growth journey, my wants, my desires, my satisfaction of overcoming the challenges and taking a W both on stage and in life from my own mind for giving my ALL every damn day.
Oh, and just because I show extreme lifestyle habits, ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT MEAN YOU SHOULD. 💜✨💜

Go all in for the love you want.
Go all in for yourself.
Go all in for them.
Be so willing to open your heart up and be vulnerable that when you are feeling raw and fragile you can embrace the feeling of pure unconditional love and acceptance from the person you choose to love and accept every day.
We cannot receive love if we are not willing to tear down a few of our own walls and stand in front of someone with trust that they won’t be like the others.
We put up walls because we have lessons that still need to be learned and usually we choose to learn lessons that debilitate our ability to attract the love we desire.
We cannot live our life in fear of love because of pains or experiences or unknowns.
When we do this we steal ourselves away from the very thing we desire. In order to truly connect with another human being, we must be willing to connect with ourselves, go within, and shine light on dark places.
When we heal and love and choose ourselves, we emit the vibrational message to the universe that we are ready, willing, and capable of receiving this love from another person too.
Your soul craves connection, become a magnet by charging yourself first. Totally grateful for this man and everything we share together. And totally grateful to myself for committing to doing the inner work necessary to improve my life.
When I committed to myself, Somehow he found me and I found him, and then we got here.
The love you’re meant to experience exists, it’s out there in the energy of the universe waiting to be harnessed by you!
Set powerful intentions that you are not only open to receiving it but that you will be present enough to recognize it when it presents itself to you.
Every rep counts.
Every thought counts.
Every rest period counts.
Every weight lifted counts.
Every tear shed counts.
Every smile worn counts.
Every sweat drop counts.
Every meal eaten counts.
Every moment counts.
Every damn day matters.
MAKE IT COUNT.
Self love is the difference between honoring or freeing your soul and forcing or restricting your soul.
The more love we have within, then the more love we can radiate out into the world, and thus the more love we can receive.
Self love is the base of all my coaching.
I cannot imagine beginning any journey without first tuning into the energy of love and generating a force so powerful from within that every action taken from there on is done with the relentless air of love.
In order to truly love ourselves, we must be willing to go through things about ourselves that are in the dark or which we have kept hidden, shamed, or quiet.
We must be willing to open ourselves up fully and exclaim acceptance.
And this is so much easier said than done.
To make it easier on yourself, consider perspective.
When Considering what you want, contrast it with what you do not want, it’s counterpart.
Self-loves counterpart is self-loathe.
When we do things in hateful or destructive ways we are interrupting the flow of our self loving and therefore interrupting our ability to be fully present and radiant as a positive energy field.
Self loathing is forceful, restrictive, judgmental, and painful. Nothing flows here with ease or fun or freedom.
Self loving is freeing, empowering, strengthening, flowing, and effortless.
When rooted in love, intuition becomes loud and clear.
And everything you do is no longer to ‘change’ something about your ‘broken’ self. But rather to enhance your journey as a soul having a human experience because you KNOW that is what you need to make the most of this life we have been gifted.
Loving yourself is taking actions, choosing thoughts, and surrounding yourself with people and things which fill you up with warmth and excitement!
I could go on and on about this topic all day, this is the bread and butter of my coaching which brings my clients their lasting results that make them feel AMAZING and empowered without stealing their freedom or fulfillment.

The pain of Confronting my own inner Demons led me to something I didn’t even know was possible...
Some of these struggles included:
•anxiety from depression, I had become so fearful of myself, my thoughts, & even what my actions might be.
•near body dysmorphia but never officially diagnosed, I was too embarrassed to talk about it to people & feared their judgement/misunderstanding.
•up&down fat loss/gain
•not feeling good/worthy enough & attracting toxic friendships/ relationships.
•unhealthy relationship with food & my body w/excessive exercising&disordered eating habits backed by fear; I was attempting to put a physical band aid on much deeper wounds.
It took LOTS of time, energy, & money to work through all of this & it’s not a ‘one and done’ thing, It requires consistent effort, it’s a choice daily to live the lifestyle of my BEST self, which means CONSTANT progression, CONSTANT growth, & CONSTANTLY overcoming blocks, resistance, pain, & darkness.
The beauty is, I found freedom w/ food, I started to give my body nutrients it was begging for all along, I learned about the human body’s needs, & I expressed love to my body by giving her what’s necessary to function in an optimal state.
I now see my body as THE GREATEST ASSET to human beings as it is the vehicle for our souls to live & fulfill our purpose in this physical world/experience we were gifted.
I LOVED my body for the first time. By LOVE, I mean, the way I eat in loving ways, the way I realign my thought patterns to be rooted in love, the way I move my body in loving ways, the way I surround my body w/ other loving souls’ energies.
I genuinely appreciate my body as a physical transcendence of my unique soul serving as an organ to my light so I can shine out into the world.

You may not know this about me but despite all the struggles I had with depression, anxiety, and an unhealthy relationship with my body, food, & exercise, I know it all led me to this...
The ABSOLUTE best part of my journey was the day I launched my online coaching business and began sharing my message of aligning inner work with physical results, so the world can start ‘Building more than Just a Body’.
I committed to learning, becoming a professional in the field, getting certified, going beyond the mechanics of the body and learning the workings of the mind diving into psychology, mindset, healing, overcoming limiting beliefs, and SO much more, the learning NEVER stops.
It all started when I set out to help other amazing, ambitious, and driven souls who are committed to achieving their dreams of living a life with limitless freedom, love and fulfillment within and for their; body, health, intuition, nourishment, movement, and each moment of their own growth journey.
And rather than following the constructs of the industry I am in… I set out to create a world full of souls who love themselves so much that they naturally have the desire to take care of their bodies, so the results come from a place of love, ease, flow, and peace rather than hatred, restriction, social conditioning, and negative emotions.
I know this because aside from myself, my clients, past and present, confirm this and are living proof that my system brings people a freedom within their body that they never knew they could experience before, a renewed and vibrant lifestyle that they feel called to sustain out of pure joy and appreciation for their body, and a deeper sense of presence within everyday knowing that they have a lifestyle which supports them on their ultimate journey of life.
And to know I am making a difference in their world, makes all the difference in my world.
Just the fact that you desire more, is proof enough that you are capable, worthy, and deserving of more.
The best version of you ALREADY lives within you.

Doing our best in life is all we really can do.
If we focus on the things we can control and give every moment our all them at the end of the day, we win.
This happens regardless of status, symbols, trophies, awards because winning is not actually an external game but rather it is a consistent desire to triumph internally that leads to fulfillment and pride.
Everything we have and need is within us already, or we have the capability to use what we have within us to get what we need be it experiences, people, things, accomplishments, etc.
Competing, in any aspect of life, is not about the score you receive, it’s about the score you tally up every time the sun sets and you ask yourself, “Did I leave it all on the table today?” When we can honestly say “YES!”, the rest takes care of itself.
And above all, if you do everything within your power physically to get you towards your goal, DO NOT sell yourself short...do the INTERNAL work as well so you become a magnet to what you want.
Your mind will stop you if you don’t BELIEVE in yourself and show love to yourself by working through the blocks and limits that hold you back from fulfilling the greatness you seek.
What does winning mean to you?
Photos are a mix from @musclecontest Gold Coast and the Las Vegas legends classic shows I did in February. I placed 1st in Novice and 3rd in open at Gold Coast which didn’t qualify me for nationals so I put my head down and worked for another week pushing my body beyond any limits I knew were possible and took 2nd in Vegas open class to qualify for nationals. This was so rewarding because it felt like a big step forward in my competition journey and was something I set out to do this year with the help of my amazing @teamedge1 ❤️💪🏻🙌🏻👊🏼✨
ACHIEVING A V SHAPE⏳
These photos are a series of transformations that shows my waist getting smaller as my lats grow! The illusion comes from the growing of the shoulders and lats while keeping the waist tight. My waistline measurements aren’t that different in these photos but the lats have grown and so have my shoulders.
Specifically, focusing on growing my medial delts and my rear delts emphasizes this illusion from the backside point of view while growing the lats (not just the upper wings but the lower lats as well!!) helps create that balanced v shape down.
I see many people with overdeveloped upper lats (right under armpit) developed lower lats which creates asymmetry.
So, if you want a balanced, strong/athletic looking shape with that v from shoulders to waist, YOU HAVE TO FOCUS ON GROWING YOUR UPPER BODY! Especially if you don’t have the curvy small waist and are built more ‘square’ but want to create the v effect then this is extra important.
Building my back and upper body altogether has also been one of the most fun parts of fitness since I first started being serious about lifting back in 2014.
I want to emphasize that THERE IS NO WRONG OR RIGHT BODY SHAPE. I believe that we should always strive to create an optimally functioning body and however that looks on YOU is PERFECT. But we can’t pretend like being 50+ pounds overweight/higher in body fat is healthy for us. Just like I won’t pretend like the extremes of competing are healthy either.
At the end of the day, if you are giving your body to thrive and serve your soul at an optimal level then you should feel AWESOME and PROUD of yourself regardless of the shape you embody at this current moment.

Took this photo after my last session of my most recent peak week and i can honestly say I have never challenged myself at the level of which I did doing two shows back to back, I also never felt more in sync with my stage goals.
There were so many challenging moments; crying during or after workouts from pushing so hard,
feeling so weak and depleted like I couldn’t stand or open doors too heavy,
feeling on cloud 9 like nothing could stop me then suddenly not being able to focus on anything accept for the show,
waking up at 4am to get in my fasted cardio before fulllll day’s of work, client calls, coaching, online check ins, etc.,
saying no during all the holidays, birthdays, and more (though refusing food isn’t that tough for me since I worked on my relationship with food and my body that I’ll touch on another day),
and many other challenging moments.
BUT this was the one time I didn’t doubt myself at all during prep.
I had my eyes on the prize and KNEW that each and every moment counted To get me there and if I gave 110% to every moment then I would receive at least 100% back at the end of the day.
I set the intention that 2018 would be the year I launch full on into competing and nothing has stopped me!
I’m all in baby and that’s how it has to be.
Now I’m focused on building muscle so next time I step on stage there’s no question that I am going to be competitive at higher and higher levels.
When you truly want something, laser focus sets in and every step you take is taken with that vision in mind.
