![]() Why Wouldn’t You Love Yourself? Self-love is not always about looking for all these new reasons & ways to #loveyourself Sometimes it’s just realizing what’s not to love! When we see what we DON’T love, we shine light on the dark place. Think of yourself like a bookshelf, there could be a lot of books that you don’t love, but trying to squeeze in what you love or find alllll the things you do love would be a lot harder than just getting rid of what you don’t particularly love in the first place. We have to create space to let love in which means change is required! *brain screams in fear* Basically, if you want to love yourself more, become aware of what parts of you are NOT your ideal! This doesn’t mean you go: “Well, I hate all of me & the only thing I love are my lips so I’m never going to love myself” Let’s be real I used to be able to point out all these things I didn’t love about myself From physical characteristics to past mistakes or lil habits/quirks I had Next, I took note of why I wouldn’t or didn’t love those things. After that, I asked myself: “Of these things, what can I change or control?” Then, I let go of what I couldn’t change & I gained control of what I could. The things I could not change...I could learned to accept & love! This involved forgiveness, inner healing, rewriting belief systems, & a commitment to myself Much of what I used to loathe have now turned into things I love or have transformed! I have used my own experience, knowledge, practices, & processes with many other women & I know this is my purpose! I love love love working with women worldwide to increase their self love and make peace with themselves accept who they are, & see themselves worthy of all they truly desire I believe Self-love makes achieving our dreams easier as we become naturally inspired to take actions toward our goals as we see ourselves as worthy of it! Loving yourself should never be put off🥰🥰 Don’t wait on it, make yourself a priority and watch the rest of your life shift ❤️ . Ps I have a cute 18 ways to love yourself printable you can get HERE

![]() Same Shirt, New Shoulders😯💪🏻 I posted the picture on the left in 2014 celebrating shoulder gains (yes, believe it or not) & took this pic on the right maybe in January this year to capture them! FIVE YEARS APART I think in the right pic I’m around 25 pounds heavier too! Prob from all the mental gains tbh 😜 Takeaway: BUILDING MUSCLE TAKES TIME!!! Okay before I get sappy, let’s get real, building muscle, as a natural female athlete is no joke. Even under PERFECT circumstances. And this is flexed! I still have a ways to go! Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in what still needs work that we don’t recognize how far we have come. You’ve heard it! Shoulders have ALWAYS been a major focus on growing for me. When I first started my journey into fitness I was still a volleyball player and had constant shoulder pain and couldn’t risk training them before a practice or game day! So I only trained them 1 or if I was lucky, 2x/wk! Now I train em 2-3x weekly! I could legit outline every practical thing I did between these photos but we’d be here forever. But the truth is, like we are different, so are our own bodies. Sometimes my body responds well to one stimuli for a solid 4 months then mixing it up, I reap better results. We are ever evolving! A transformation photo does absolute zero justice to the process and real transformation of lifestyle & internal mind that must occur to make this transformation happen I turned toxic relationships with myself, food, & my body into healthy, loving, & fulfilling ones😍 I also became educated in training and got certified, studies clinical nutrition & dietetics for most of my associates & almost a year in a bachelors program before switching to Psychology I invested a lot of time & energy into treating myself like a guinea pig & learning new things There’s a lot of habits, rituals, and people to thank for contributing to the growth I’ve had on all levels I’ve experienced the worst and the best of it all. But I’m grateful for all of it. I’m a whole different person between then & now Do everything with Purpose, passion, & persistence! Apply HERE for my online fitness, mindset, self-love, & or food freedom coaching❤️😊 Can’t wait to help you get there😍 ![]() When was the last time you felt absolutely amazed by yourself when you looked in the mirror? What made you feel so amazing? How can you bring even more of that same energy to your current circumstances? For me, I always feel better about how I look when I know I’m taking positive actions toward my goals with the things I can absolutely control. Food I eat, intensity in training, mindset work, rest, & of course drinking water! I find that one of the quickest ways I get myself feeling more “awesome” is by drinking water & taking my vitamins! Such simple ways to set yourself up for success as you start off on the right foot! One little habit repeated over and over again becomes more like first nature. That’s why prepping my water and carrying my Hydration Junkie Transporter jug with me everywhere has become a non-negotiable! (Which if you want one of these jugs I have a link to it in my bio list of buttons just use my code celeste10 at https://hydrationjunkie.com/?aff=CELESTE10) Find what those things are for you and use them to get back to a state of feeling absolutely AMAZING about yourself! It could even be going for a massage or getting your hair done! Like Darah Diaz shared on my confessions of a bikini pro podcast! Sometimes it’s less about how you look and why you feel the way you do about how you look! Take care of yourself and set positive intentions for your day! ![]() Have you ever been self-conscious of your spleen? Self-consciousness is an interesting thing. We do not become self-conscious of our internal organs the way we might be self-conscious of our body shape. So now the question is, why? Well, our internal organs have no relation to others the way our physical body shape might. Without others, there would be no self. There is no reference to your spleen compared to someone else’s unless it wasn’t functioning well & you sought support from others. As competitors this awareness of our body is heightened as its intertwined with our identity “I look strong...fit...lean...fluffy...bloated...” Can only be a statement in reference to other people. But why?! Because, as soon as we reference something in this way we bring it into the real world which then means we bring our self-consciousness into it. Self-consciousness, is really just heightened awareness of the self as a unique individual So, when your body becomes part of you, it becomes part of the world which means it becomes comparable to others “Oh, so I’ll just see my body like an organ” Ah, if only it were that simple When something becomes part of your self-consciousness, it takes on imaginative forms which guide us to feel GOOD or BAD emotions relative to it The reflection in the mirror does not illicit gratification or disappointment. It is the fact that we relate the reflection to the way we see ourselves in other people’s minds We seek a mold to fit or an identity to be known for that embodies specific characteristics based on what we’ve seen or accepted as true Bikini Competitors want to be seen as in shape, disciplined, in control, 1%ers, proportioned, relentless, etc So, if you see yourself in the mirror, not fitting the expected form, you feel ashamed or inadequate Thus, being self-conscious is a reflection of an identity disconnect expressed through shame, guilt, or other negative emotions. Ready to overcome these heavy, limiting emotions & beliefs? Let’s make that happen together. Click HERE to send me an email and write me with the subject line "Self-Conscious" and then let me know you are interested in finding ways we can work together or I can help you. Even if I can't help you, I might be able to find someone who is a better fit for you or at least get you some resources :) Worth the reach out! Chat soon xx ![]()
HOW I GOT MY PERIOD BACK NATURALLY
♥️ (YOUTUBE VIDEO HERE or scroll down to watch) HERE’S EVERYTHING in a nutshell: 1.) started seed cycling 2.) got bloodwork done and reviewed results in comparison to things discussed in the “Period Repair Manual” by Dr. Lara Briden 3.) realized my cause was likely HPA axis dysfunction (aka adrenal fatigue) which meant I needed to eliminate stress!!! 4.) cut out all cardio, increased calories drastically, and started taking supplements with a purpose 5.) cut out all artificials, processed foods, or even body lotions and candles. no caffeine, alcohol, or added sugars, and limited fructose intake to 1 fruit per day! Everything and anything in my control that could be added stress in the body, I cut out! 6.) prioritized sleep!!! As a very busy woman I needed to make this a priority. I started supplementing with a non-addictive sleep aid-melatonin! 7.) supplements that helped me based on dosage and recommendation in “the period repair manual” (swipe for pics) 8.) not mentioned in video but realizing it’s super important and I should have... I developed a healthy relationship with a menstrual cycle. I started writing down “I have healthy hormones and get my period every month, whenever it comes I celebrate and all cramps or pain are Better than nothing at all!” “I love getting my period!!” Etc. I hope these tips have been super helpful for you or tag someone below who could use them! If you ever want support through the process, I’m here for you! Please remember, while losing your period may be “normal” as an athlete, it doesn’t make it okay to allow to persist! Take the time to restore your hormones, it’ll help you function at a a MUCH higher level anyways meaning your body will respond better to everything you do! Maybe what we should be focused on more is taking responsibility for how we feel, think, or obsess over our every move.
You get the point... Overthinking leads to stinking Been there done that Focus on you, your goals, and your needs. Remember that things are always worse when we make them out to be that way And if you don’t know what to think of it all ask, “what’s the worst thing that could happen?” It’s probably not even as bad of a situation or result as you thought 😉 Then ask yourself what’s the NEXT best step you can take for yourself? And do that! Make it easier on yourself rather than dwelling on anything! We are all guilty of this but you can make it through! There are so many ways we can work to tap into more acceptance and less fear! Want to put an end to the overthinking, obsession, doubts, and fears over the actions you’re taking? Want to find ways to love, accept, and make peace with yourself and your actions in all seasons? Click HERE to apply for 1:1 coaching with me, and I’ll chat with you about how we can make this happen while working together. I’ll do my best to help you if I can and then either find a way to work with you or I’ll point you in the right direction because regardless, you deserve peace 😌❤️ ![]() 🌷Significance of Spring🌷 Why it is Such a Powerful time to Start Anew {plus 3 powerful questions to reflect on to get the most out of this season of blossoming} Spring brings us more balance, light, and growth. The balance of day and night becoming as close to equal in time as one can get encourages us to reestablish our own balance in life. The sunshine feels brighter and warmer opening us up to feelings of greater opportunities for rejuvenation, peace, and other warm feelings like love. The flowers come into bloom reminding us that even through harsh, dark, cold times we too can come back more vibrant and lively than ever before. Spring always inspires me to live more, enjoy nature more, and be grateful for the gifts we are given every day just by inhabiting this planet. We tend to feel the itch to clean out our lives at this time “spring cleaning”, “digital detoxes”, and “self reinvention” become much more prevalent. We begin to feel drawn to change as a way to connect more with our roots in the earth through shifting our own internal darkness to light. We feel called to let go, to heal, to move forward...to begin again. Take some time to reflect today, ask yourself; 🌷What am I holding onto that I need to finally let go of to be lighter and more open to growth? 🌷What can I get rid of physically and emotionally to create space for more of what I desire? 🌷What energies do I intend to carry with me and embody more often in this new time? (I.E: love, forgiveness, optimism, acceptance, curiosity) While I believe that we can shift everything and anything in our life at anytime... I also believe there is something special in seasons, new beginnings, the universe, moon and stars (sun), and planets shifting that we can also lovingly embrace as means for inspiration to keep growing through life. (But in my opinion, NEVER as an excuse!) More than anything it’s just another way to be INTENTIONAL🌝🌟 Comment below with 3 things you’d like to shift, let go of, embody, or change in your life currently to help you bloom into the better version of yourself. ![]() MAKING HEALTHY COMPARISONS There is a theory in social psychology called ‘Social Comparison Theory’ Which essentially suggests that we compare ourselves to other people as a way to evaluate our own abilities especially when we feel unsure of them! It’s used as a way to prove or disprove our concept of self This happens a lot in the fitness and competing world as well as business and entrepreneurship! With social media we can instantly conclude whether we are ‘good’ or ‘not so good’ at something Ever watch someone’s posing routine, lifts, professional photos, or even just their shape as a whole and compare yourself to see how you might stack up? Or compare your videos, bank account, speech invites, travel adventures, living situation, or clientele base to others? Sometimes, comparison is self-serving when we use it to our advantage. But for some people it tends to derail them. Like alllll the people who wanted to be great musicians but played their guitar 2x and decided they weren’t good enough, never would be like hendrix, and put it back in its case. So how do we make sure this comparison is healthy? Simply put, make sure our mind/self-concept is already in a healthy place before participating in comparison. Consider self-esteem, self-worth, & self-efficacy All three are different, all three matter. Many studies will show you that the people who have a high level of self-efficacy are more likely to persist after failure & be able to recover from the loss quicker which then contributes to higher self-worth & esteem! But like I said, this is just simplification of something which runs deeper than a blanket statement. I am known for completely transforming individuals’ relationship with themselves. From the way they think about themselves to the actions they take with directed self-introspection, growth, & healing. It’s systematic, & well thought out but also flexible & highly dependent on each individual client I’d love to invite you to apply to work with me 1:1 with breakthrough mindset coaching. Diving into self-love, mindset, and all things inner work to bring you fulfillment, peace, & empowerment! Click HERE to apply now! ![]() No one came here to be mediocre. So we find ways to be above average or do things we didn’t even know we ourselves were capable of. One of those things for me is competing. I’m a very competitive person, always have been and likely always will be. Bodybuilding has given me the opportunity to compete with myself and only myself. I know I’m the only one in control of my outcome. I love that when I wake up I have a choice to do better or to make excuses. I love that it’s a sport where we are judged and compared because it forces me to practice reconnecting to MY why or finding peace in the internal wins more than any trophy or placing I love that this sport is an extreme of a lifestyle that I love I love that you can’t always be stage lean and ready to step on stage in order to do well I love that it requires literal growth phases Currently I feel like I caterpillar in my chrysalis taking the time to make something even more magical I look at my stage shots, prep photos, and show day pics like this and MISSSSS it! But I also see someone I’ll never see again. Because I’m growing, I’m changing, and my mental and emotional state will change with me! This sport doesn’t allow anyone to be mediocre. You either show up every day to give it your all even when you don’t want to or you lose You lose because you quit on yourself not because you didn’t place. In fact, you could place and be upset knowing you didn’t even give your all! But like I said, I’m competitive, most of us are. And even though the internal wins are most fulfilling, I have my heart set on some seriously big goals and achievements. If I didn’t want to win on stage I would never stop and take the time to grow. But there’s work to do in order to get to the top and I’m learning, growing, and pushing myself daily. I keep reminding myself, a winning physique is built in the improvement season, fine tuned & chiseled during a prep, and exhibited on stage💪🏻 How do you show up for yourself and your goals every day? ![]() Where is your favorite place you’ve ever been? Comment below! As a kid I was blessed to be raised by two parents who love to travel and wanted to share that with their daughters! I’ve been to more countries than I have States (that’s crazy to me!) It’s hard to compare the countries of Europe to the various islands I’ve seen but I will say Fiji was my favorite of all! The people, culture, way of life, and views; it was just so amazing! I would love to go see Australia, New Zealand, and Bali as I have some friendships with people there and because it’s gorgeous! I’d also love to see Ireland, French Polynesia, Iceland, and sooooo many other places, I could go on😍 Ever since I was little I would dream of the places I could see because of the love for travel my parents have instilled in me! Nothing makes me feel more connected and at peace than nature or getting out into the world! The world is our teacher and with the gift of transportation we can learn so so much!!🌟 Comment below letting me know where your favorite place is! I love new ideas! This photo was taken in Solvang, California!😊 |
