![]() Transformation, especially in this sport, can happen rapidly while simultaneously very slowly. You can choose, in this moment right now, to radically change your lifestyle and this is a rapid transformation if you implement that change and actually make it your daily reality. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This choice, creates a ripple effect into long term change. It’s the daily choice to commit to the little details that lead to a transformation over not just weeks, or months, but YEARS! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve come to love this sport and the journey it requires. You build and chisel and test and tweak and it’s not always perfect or a masterpiece. Sometimes, you’re; too conditioned, not conditioned enough, not symmetrical enough, too this or too that. And many people RUN and HIDE from these truths and factors. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But Isn’t that the name of this game? We are building our bodies. We are facing critique, judgement, praise, and pride. We are given an opportunity to challenge ourselves further every day of the year because this sport is not a one stop shop, it’s a commitment. The body shifts and changes overtime based on how we train, eat, and think. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Just even looking at these two photos it’s clear that the outcome in gaining more muscle was achieved but now I have to focus on more conditioning and then I’ll have an even better aesthetic next time I step on stage. But if I didn’t accept this or look at it objectively then my emotions would get in the way of me improving! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you aren’t willing to grow, to condition, to change something, why are you doing this sport? No one forced you. If you’re not willing to do the cardio, lift the weights, run sprints, eat the food, cut or increase the food intake, why are you doing this sport? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re not willing to win, lose, or go back to the drawing board and test, tweak, manipulate, and change things just because the result won’t be immediate or because you’ve ‘already done all this’, why are you doing this sport? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Be in it for what it brings to your life, mind, body, and overall empowerment. If you cannot find peace & satisfaction in the internal wins and game, then how can you celebrate the external wins?

One of my favorite things about being a coach is anticipating client needs.
I am ALWAYS thinking about my clients. When I know I have a client who is going through something or I get the intuitive nudge to guide my client through some things it ALWAYS ends up being very transformative. Sometimes it’s even the anticipation of what they DO NOT need. The more in tune I am with myself, the more tuned in I can be with my clients which is a HUGE reason why making myself a priority is a non-negotiable. If I do not take care of my needs, I am not as awesome of a coach and that is NOT okay and does not meet my standards as a fitness, self love, and mindset coach. I am so in love with what I do that I can’t help but get excited when I prep, facilitate, and witness transformation. Ask yourself; How do I know i am lacking discipline? How do I define discipline? Is this based on my own definitions or one I have been taught or conditioned to have? How would I define discipline in a way that truly serves me on my path to my highest self? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Once you’ve clearly defined discipline, ask yourself; What does the most disciplined version of me do differently? How does this version of me act, feel, and live? Does having this discipline actually help my higher self feel more aligned, empowered, inspired, and at peace with/ in love with life? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. Based on number 2 ask yourself what you can be doing right NOW from that version of yours lifestyle. So, if that version of you is more conscious at every meal taking slower chewing time and tuning into how the body feels and this is something you feel you can start incorporating today, then do that. This makes it more achievable because you aren’t forcing yourself to dive all in and have this super ‘disciplined’ restrictive energy driving you, instead it’s just a new action inspired by your next level self. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I will say though, discipline isn’t usually the answer or the problem. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My clients find making healthy habits a priority becomes much easier with the deeper we go into their identity, self-love, and belief systems. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When we really connect them into their core soul codes they no longer feel taking these healthy action steps are as difficult or require tons of ‘will power’ and ‘discipline’ but rather, they begin to find ease where there was once resistance. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I know that with more self love, comes more loving action and the identity takes on a new form. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Are you ready to truly feel the shift within you? I would feel that it was ugly and excessive so I wanted to hide them because my gums were soo pronounced. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Now? I love being happy and laughing more than I could ever care about how I look when I am being happy and Free and totally in the moment. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My current self surrenders more to the embodiment of ‘being’ and this allows me to embrace each moment more. Now when I see a picture of me like this, gums n all, I am so grateful for this happiness because I can reflect upon many times in my life where my mind was my worst enemy and my depressed or anxious demons would torment me and rob me of my happiness. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In no way am I perfect or always happy go lucky. Trust me, I struggle a lot mentally, emotionally, and physically as well. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have really bad days where I doubt myself, question my every move, feel like a failure, and other negative emotions surface and run a muck in my head. But I consciously choose to recenter, Get help, refocus, channel energy differently, and prioritize just being me and being in the moment. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I also honor my soul and my calling so much more. I do what I know needs to be done even if it is scary or ‘risky’ because I have a deep belief that when we follow our soul, regardless of how scary, everything does work out for us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What’s the point if you aren’t happy and totally in love with your life anyways? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Can you relate to this? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You know it is so much easier to compare yourself to others success than to recognize your own. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But it is ego consciousness that tells us this is more important than what soul consciousness knows to be true; your progress and your success is all that truly matters. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When our ego screams for validation we must ask our soul to provide comfort through acceptance. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We cannot let the way others look, act, or live dictate how we do. We are on our own journey, our own path and our own destination will be unique even if it looks similar on surface level. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sure, you might not be as x, y, or z but that doesn’t need to be what stops you from doing what you set out to do. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Focus on being a step above yourself not anyone else. If we pity ourselves or look down upon ourselves for things we do not yet have but others do, we send out a negative vibration that actually repels the very thing we desire most. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So celebrate others success and your own. The more positivity and celebration that is had for ‘wins’ the better and more likely you’ll attract more wins and winners into your life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Aspire to have your own best attributes but not in comparison to the best attributes others have built. You do not know their full story just as they do not know every detail of yours. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Imagine how much more you would accomplish if you were more concerned with your own growth and life than that of others? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am inspired to write this one week after my most recent show (pics are from this morning check in) as the mental side of this sport can be tricky when our body is regulating. I am learning to have love and graciousness to myself in this journey and spending time recognizing how far I have come in a little over a year straight of being 110% focused on growing in this sport. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #itaintovertillisayitsover #moretocome #makinithappen ![]() CONTRARY TO POPULAR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT COACHING WORLD BELIEF: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You don’t always have to fix something about yourself... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Some days you really can just enjoy the hell out of yourself, “flaws” n all, and just see yourself for the beautiful soul you are. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ While yes, loving yourself is taking time to improve yourself, it’s also taking the time to embrace yourself fully for everything you have been, are, and will become. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Maybe the best thing you can do today isn’t actually the mindset work on all your limiting beliefs, or the identity work and visualization of your higher self, or the healing meditations, or the chakra clearing, or whatever else you normally do to uplevel, align, or grow... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Maybe it is simply making the decision to Stop and thank yourself today for every little detail that makes you YOU and every experience of your life, big and small, because it’s all made you who you are and you my friend are a frikkin rock star ![]() What is ‘normal’ anyways? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Unfortunately ‘normal’ represents average and our averages for the majority of Americans (and other 1st world countries) aren’t all that impressive. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •The average person is overweight. •The average person doesn’t fulfill their nutrient needs. •The average person doesn’t workout every day or even multiple times in a week. •The average person doesn’t journal, reflect, or tune into their soul/mind through mindset or identity work. •The average person doesn’t make tons of time for themselves unless it’s on social media or binge watching shows (does that even count though?). •The average person doesn’t find things to be grateful for everyday. •The average person isn’t doing what they love every day or even a few times in a month. •The average person isn’t making as much money they want to be, looking the way they want to look, or surrounding themselves with the things and people they’d like to most often. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is sad to me and it doesn’t even cover all the bases. We live in a world with an abundance of opportunities and yet, it is not ‘normal’ to seize them. WHY?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Being ‘average’ sounds really unfortunate to me and while that may hurt some feelings I’m not going to limit myself the way the world has taught us to. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You shouldn’t feel bad for wanting or demanding more of yourself and or your life! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You can BE more, ACHIEVE more, HAVE more, FEEL more, LOVE more. Literally, the universe is a huge bowl of energy and you have the power to align your own vibrations to those of which you desire to attain and you can MAKE IT YOUR REALITY. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Normal isn’t even close to my minimum standard for living life. Is it yours? Just because ‘most people’ do or don’t do something, should that reallllyyyy determine what you choose to do? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I was inspired to write this because often times after a show I get asked “will you be able to be/eat/train/live more normal now?” And I always say, “THIS lifestyle IS my ‘normal’!” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I recognize that my normal could be someone else’s extreme but I chose this and I choose it every day. It makes me feel alive, aligned, and accomplished. I LOVE the life I live even with the struggles it can present. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Of course, being off ‘prep’ means I can play more with the food I eat, the timing/length/intensity of my workouts, and the way I structure my life and other fun things I do. BUT, make no mistake. The ‘off’ time is JUST as important as prep time. This is when I’m making IMPROVEMENTS, therefore, slacking is NOT an option. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What helps me most is determining my needs, standards, and expectations. Setting boundaries, goals, and choosing my identity is helpful in the transition times as well as day to day life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Determine YOUR normal from the space of the HIGHEST version of yourself and watch your life begin to change before your eyes. Actions you take will be rooted in your soul’s deepest cravings and will be fully intentional; not reactive. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ YOU HAVE THE POWER TO LIVE LIFE BY YOUR OWN DESIGN. What do you choose? First set of photos are from April 6, 2018, I weighed in at 129.7lbs ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The second set of photos are from one day before my most recent show, July 20, 2018, at 120.4lbs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That’s 9.3 pounds lost Between these two photos. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I didn’t even realize how far I came after the building plan I did with my coach Joe with Team Edge. I find transformation photos like this to be so helpful and eye opening. Despite the hours in the gym, feeling differences, and making different conscious choices every day, there really is nothing like seeing the side by side comparison. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This last competition on Saturday I stepped on stage about 8-9lbs heavier than my second February show and about 4-6pounds heavier than my first February show. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We set the intention to build more muscle and we did! I also really love my shape and the effort I have been giving for the past 15+ months to competing is a way for me to truly honor myself and my goals and I am proud of myself for this! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This may not have been my most conditioned look but it was my most muscular. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Can’t wait to determine plans for moving forward in this sport :) until then, we focus on a healthy reverse 🤗❤️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What are some goals you have set for yourself? I am not in a rush to be anything. The only urgency I have is the urgency to improve day in and day out and THAT is what helps me continue taking steps forward. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have learned so much patience through this and will continue to practice it.
