Bodybuilding as an Outlet

Apparently bodybuilding doesn’t solve our problems 🧐😳😫🙄


But it can be an excellent distraction...


I learned the hard way.


I was pushing so many of my feelings about my life away to focus on the one thing I could control completely;


What I ate and how I moved.


Once I came off the high I realized I had shit to work through still, apparently it doesn’t just disappear?


I had to come to terms with the things I was running away from. It was time to face them and make changes.


Sometimes a bandaid can do the trick, but only for so long until you risk infection, and it grows and grows...


I know it’s pretty graphic but that is what’s happening with the emotions/pain you cover up by controlling your physical world


It just starts getting worse in worse but you don’t realize it because you can’t even see it under the bandaid.


Then when you rip the bandaid off it’s suddenly a big “OH HELL NO HOW DID THIS EVEN HAPPEN?!!”


You finally realize you HAVE to do something about it before it kills you...


I never thought that competing would keep me from entirely seeing everything I was hiding from.


But it was doing such a good job I couldn’t even tell!


(Sneaky lil chicken n veg eatin, stair master climbin, booty kickbacker, bikini wearin’, sparkly devil)


So when the shows stopped and things started slowing down and the reigns were loosened ever so slightly...BAM


EVERYTHING HIT ME AT ONCE!


All I wanted to do was crawl in a lil shell!


Because, even though I wanted/needed to make improvements for my next prep...


I also felt like the heaviest weight I was lifting was the weight of my emotions, doubts, fears, and pain that I ignored.


But there’s beauty in this. I was able to fully reconnect with myself.


I could finally Go into the pain knowing it would be tough but necessary


I had to remember the pain of staying where I was


(depressed, anxious, feeling down in the dumps)


was only going to get worse and be harder to deal with than if I just moved through the pain of getting over it now!


I’m so glad I did. I try to become very aware of when my habits are healthy...


Or if they are a result of me wanting to “run away” (even if it is to a healthy outlet, it is still an outlet!)


Sometimes a gym sesh really can pull you out of a lil rut.


But full on emotional turmoil and pain can’t just be solved through the control of our physical world.


We have to go within!


That’s why my mission is to help others build more than just a body!


I absolutely love the sport and cannot wait to start another prep. A big reason i love it so much is for all that it teaches me!

Here’s one of the secrets to unlocking the potential you need to achieving the goals that are driving you everyday.

Before I get to that, it’s important to know that even though the big picture goal matters...

It isn’t going to come just by focusing on a photo framed on your wall that ‘will be you someday’.

When we want something, we should allow that desire to drive our actions every moment of every day.

So How do you do this?
What is this ‘secret’?

Sometimes this process even begins to happen subconsciously just by aligning ourselves

AND our goals to what I refer to as our core soul code or what others call our values...

A lot of people think that in order to ACHIEVE what they want, they must WORK WORK WORK until they do.

What I’ve noticed is that they end up working 10x harder than necessary for less than even MEDIOCRE results.

If you’re really after MASSIVE success...

Then you must 100% EMBODY the identity of the version of you who has ALREADY achieved the success you currently want.

This creates greater results bc EVERY ACTION you take is ALIGNED to the identity of the next level version of you.

So, what’s happening?

It means you’re no longer creating results from your ‘lower’ self!

Now you’re creating results from the ‘highest’ version of yourself who consistently breaks through limits!

Magical stuff.

If you’re going to put in the work, it may as well be smart, aligned, high powered work.

I mean, why would you waste your time doing something in 10 steps that you could do in 1?

For every ‘outside job’ there’s ‘inner work’ to be done.

And it is NECESSARY for maximizing our energy and efforts into our results.

I never thought going through such an emotional, crazy, & depressing time in my life would lead me to this...

I vividly recall sitting on the couch like a slug, totally out of my own element, like I wasn’t even present in my own body
Suddenly I felt this surge come over me shaking me to say:

“THIS IS NOT YOUR LIFE!!! YOU CAN BE HAPPY, FREE, AND FULFILLED AND YOU KNOW IT!!!

THE PAIN OF GETTING THROUGH IT WILL NEVER BE AS BAD AS THE PAIN OF STAYING IN IT, GET OUT NOW!

IF YOU REALLY DIDN’T WANT TO FEEL THIS WAY YOU WOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!”

And so I did…I went back to the basics.

I revisited my self-love, body image, mindset exercises, journal prompts, & meditations that have saved me before.

I rewrote my identity, came to terms with what is and was, and found peace in acceptance of the journey.

I talked to people about how I felt, opened up about my pains/struggles, & trusted that my vulnerability would provide me answers.

I looked beyond the surface to determine what exactly was getting to me so much, where was the real pain!?

And it was a daily, conscious choice to wake up & recommit to choosing ME and MY happiness.

(even when things felt like they were crumbling around me)

That’s the thing about getting the post-show blues or being in a funk after a show or, in my case, show after show after show…

It just hits you. And if you aren’t on top of it, getting ahead of it, or addressing it; it will absolutely consume you.
If this sport was truly just about the physical body, you wouldn’t see so many people quit, suffer, or choose to never pursue it.

That’s why I want to make sure bikini competitors have tools to enhance & strengthen their ability to get through it!

I REFUSE TO HIDE THIS SIDE OF ME!!🙅🏻‍♀️

Women are taught to hide their bodies & feel ashamed for totally embracing them!

Most women are either rewarded with the wrong attention or ridiculed for showcasing their ‘sexy’ side.

It’s no wonder so many women struggle with things like;
  • ➡️Eating disorders

➡️Unhealthy relationships with food

➡️Body image

➡️Adjusting to changes within our body (hormones, gut, digestion, development, etc)

➡️Seeing changes externally (or not seeing them)

➡️Feeling confident in our skin

➡️Being comfortable in our clothing

➡️Posting a photo like this or showing more skin in public

➡️Fear of judgement, rejection, loss, or unwanted attention

❗️THE LIST GOES ON (I bet you could name a few more🤔)❗️

The point is, if we as women want to see this change;

We have to be willing to step out of the comfort zone which was created for us by others (wtf?!)

It was difficult to even pose for this shot because I had never done it before!

And I felt like I might lose the right followers & clients, attract the wrong ppl, or be judged for it by those I care about.

So, here’s my hell yes to finally posting this photo, sharing my thoughts, and owning it.

Because my actions are meant to be taken from my own beliefs not others’ 😊

Who is setting your standards?
What research says about social media and self esteem...
Just bc the people you follow on Instagram, who seem amazing, are portraying, lifestyles doesn’t mean it has to be your way!
There’s no doubt that success leaves clues & we can all learn from each other.
But it’s important to also be aware of why we are thinking, acting, and living the way we do.
If it is not because we truly feel a deep desire or are inspired to, then why would we?
For a research report I looked into research that’s been done for the impact of social media on young women.
What they discovered was that most women’s self-esteem DROPPED when they thought their life or actions were different than those with higher perceived likeability or approval basically within society.
(They measured this based on engagement shown on the feed plus positive outcomes / perceptions)
What I’m getting at, is that this life is actually YOURS.
But throughout your life you’ll be influenced psychologically in conscious and mostly subconscious ways.
This means you won’t even realize it.
It’s easy, and naturally expected within the human race, to be influenced by our environments.
Many people just wake up one day & think “shit, this isn’t the life I imagined or dreamed of”
Then they become motivated by PAIN. But what if you could be motivated by pain BEFORE it hits you?
Asking yourself; WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T?!
Do what I love, follow my dreams, speak my mind, stand up for myself, set standards, write that book, go to the gym, start journaling, invest in myself, etc...
RAISE YOUR AWARENESS BEFORE IT WAKES YOU UP AND SLAPS YOU IN THE FACE.
It’s a choice, it’s a decision, & it’s a commitment to action.

HOW I BOUGHT MY DREAM CAR AT 21 YEARS OLD!

I CREATED THIS REALITY, YOU CAN TOO!


Today I bought my first car.


It’s a 2018 Dodge Challenger 😍


Absolute beaut.


I am so happy and grateful to be in a place where I can choose and HAVE what I want.


I pursue my dreams for my soul.


I work every damn day for my soul.


I create content daily from my soul for other souls.


I do what I am incredible at and what I love every day because I know I can and do make a difference.


I write my next level reality down daily.
I believe in myself more than anyone else ever could.


I take the path that others would run away screaming from.


Because I KNOW I have always been meant for more.


Why play it safe when I got this figured out? I CHOOSE TO LIVE IN ABUNDANCE!


My passion and drive to eradicate self loathe by raising the level of self love on the planet wakes me up every day.


People say it takes courage to follow your dreams and I’d say they are right.


But it’s never scared me...it’s a non-negotiable.


I either do what I love, what makes a difference, and what fuels my soul, or I do nothing at all.


But I’m also responsible for taking action.
Manifesting doesn’t just happen in the mind or with a pen and paper.


I take responsibility by learning, investing in myself, growing, all while making sure I’m aligned with my next level identity.


It’s a conscious choice.


But so is;
Making smart choices.
Saving.
Investing (time, $, energy, effort).
Working.
Prioritizing.
And Playing!


This reality was created with the help of many influences in my life, every person, thought, environment, decision, etc.


But especially my parents who always support me in everything & have created space for me to make things like this happen!


It’s a bit surreal to be honest.


When I drove up to the dealer I thought, so this is what the power of mindset work, perseverance, & aligned action can do for someone...

Since gratitude and love are such powerful energies. I’d like to log back on and read all about it!

Can you do me a favor?

Will you please comment below with how you’re spending thanksgiving or what is something or someone you’re grateful for?

Personally, I’ll be w/ my family, my bf, and my sis bf. We have a tradition now where every holiday we play tennis (lols)

My parents are great at the sport but myself and my sister are sub par. (Ok we suck—hope she doesn’t read this one!)

Anyways, it’s always so much fun but it’s really difficult for me not to make the bridesmaids reference where the kid says:

“I’ve seen better tennis playing in a tampon commercial.”

And to the point of gratitude;

I have the best parents, sister, family, boyfriend, friends, teammates, coaches, mentors, clients, & YOU

I am very grateful to have so much FREEDOM and OPPORTUNITY.

I live in an incredible country. 
I run my own business. 
I’ve traveled most of the world. 
I have a lot of resources. 
I’m educated and learning. 
I have never felt true hunger. 
I have the ability to donate, invest, save, spend, and make money.
I make my own schedule.
I go to the gym everyday.
I sleep in a bed.
I have transportation.
I have more than one jacket.
I have the luxury of dieting, training, bodybuilding.

Life is pretty damn good and I’ll be the first to tell you I’m blessed.

You Created All of This; Everything Goes so Much Deeper than the Physical Plane

YOU CREATED ALL OF THIS!!!!

Take a minute to reflect on everything you’ve manifested, created, and become in your life.

None of it was by accident was it?

Maybe some seemed to come out of nowhere or by faith.

But if you really put the pieces together from the thoughts to the actions to the connections...

You’ll see that it all happened through you and for you.

You might be thinking, ‘that’s nice celeste but there’s also so much I haven’t accomplished or got that I set out to’

Instead of: ‘omg I’m amazing I really have created all of this! Imagine what else I can do!!’.

And that’s okay.

But either way, remember this, there’s a reason you don’t have everything you want yet.

When you find that reason you’ll discover the key to unlocking it.

I like to remind myself that EVERYTHING IS ENERGY and ENERGY IS EVERYTHING.

If energy cannot be created or destroyed, but it can be shifted from one form to another...

This means that what you want already exists (in some way, shape, or form).

All you have to do is change your energy to match the frequency of which the things you want are vibrating at!

Oh, but you might think you already are?

Well, looks like we also have to align with the action steps that are also vibrating on that frequency.

Here’s a simple way to do this. 

Especially If you don’t know what to do or why you’re not there even though you KNOW you’re not only in full desire of what you want...

But you are also ready & willing to accept it as yours...

Then consult with someone who has ‘been there done that’. When you change, your environment changes. For better or worse.

So use your environment to help you propel.

I wouldn’t be where I am without the people I’ve hired, consulted with, or even coached!

I couldn’t have found any of these people w/o first modifying my own energy into a higher version of myself who attracts these people though.

Take responsibility for ALL aspects of growth.

It’s not just diet or exercise.

It’s not just business plans and ad spend.

It’s not just kisses and dates.

It’s not just a pay raise and a handshake.

EVERYTHING GOES SO MUCH DEEPER THAN THAT AND YOUR SOUL KNOWS IT!!!!!

Anxious about Gaining Fat from Indulging in the Food you Want?

Are you getting anxious about fat gain during the holidays?

Do you feel like you have to follow a chicken n veggie style diet during this time to make up for all the feasting you’ll do?

Do you think that if you have a lot of foods off your plan that you should do extra cardio, fast, or restrict the next day?

Have you thought about limiting your intake entirely because you have already ‘put on too much fat’ or ‘enjoyed enough’?

If this is you then please keep reading...

When we begin putting these limits or expectations on ourself we actually inhibit our ability to enjoy the experiences.

When we become so wrapped up in the negative impact of enjoying the holidays, treats, and food outside of our plan

We end up creating MORE stress in our body and our mind.

This stress then takes up the space that would have been used to actually experience / enjoy the food you’re eating.

But now you’re just sitting at the table stressing and creating a horrible environment for your gut to function...

Making your mind run a million miles a minute totally unable to focus on the amazing people you’re surrounded by

And you probably become some what of a grouch afterward and the next day.

This is all happening because you don’t identify as someone who indulges, enjoys the food their eating in excess, or goes nuts for all this

You’re a person who eats clean or tracks EVERYTHING.
You’re a person who hits the gym hard.
You’re a person who has muscle and looks lean more often than not.

You don’t want to skip out on an experience, yet you’re still stuck in the old expectations that you can’t even fully enjoy it.

To be honest, it would be better NOT to eat than to eat with all the stress/worry in your mind.

That will actually cause way more damage physically and emotionally!

You have to remember a few things:
1. You’ve been doing this long enough or efficiently enough to know what’s enough for your body- be intuitive
2. Sometimes a mental / diet break is the best thing you can do for your body especially if you plan to compete again!
3. Perpetual dieting and punishment of choices is not conducive to any goals. It won’t help you look or feel better
4. Do what YOU really want. Maybe it’s not what others expect but you have the power of personal choice

Last year I ate out of Tupperware for my boyfriend, sister, dad, mom, aunts and my own birthday as well as Halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, and New Years.

THIS WAS A PERSONAL CHOICE THAT HELPED ME DO MY ABSOLUTE BEST IN MY COMPETITION SEASON!

And if I was in prep now, I’d happily do it again! But this doesn’t make it my eternal choice or identity or reality.

We are not entirely defined on what we eat.

Our choices help to make us who we are but you’re not a bad person for wanting to celebrate the holidays w/o tracking or a pre prepped meal...

At the end of the day, we make things up to be so much worse in our head than they really are.

You don’t have to stuff your face but if you do, you also don’t have to feel guilty or like you need to ‘work it off’ or ‘earn it’

Give thanks. Eat. Enjoy. Be merry.

However that looks for you, IS OKAY as long as it’s coming from a healthy and loving place
