![]() Being physically fit takes WORK! The energy you are willing to put in will reflect in the results you get out. There’s extreme forms of the lifestyle and there are less extreme forms. Nothing is ‘wrong’ necessarily. It’s all about what works for YOU! You hear this a lot yes but how many programs, coaches, and trainers are truly real with you about what this means? I like to explain it to my clients in many ways depending on who they are but essentially Fitness is something you don’t just achieve after x weeks and call it a day and poof your results stay with you forever. It’s constant effort and energy. Once you’ve lost fat, you must be consistent to keep it off. Once you’ve gained muscle, you must be consistent to keep it on or gain more. Once you’ve adjusted your habits you must stay consistent to help your body function optimally. Considering that there are MANY ways to achieve a goal, the question becomes less of, “What is the best program to get me there fast?” And instead has to become, “What is the best program to get me there while still allowing me to feel empowered, healthy, fulfilled, and satisfied in every area of life that I would like to prioritize?” And being okay with your answer changing is a HUGE deal! For some people it might mean being as extreme as taking it to the stage and for others it might be more low key and about tuning into their intuitive eater or healing their relationship with food and going to the gym only a few times a week for less than 1hour. Both generate results, but they can come with a different pace and set of action items. What are you ACTUALLY willing to 100% COMMIT to right now? Fitness and truly living in and loving on your body is about LONGEVITY. It’s about not only nailing it on the professional programming but also nailing it on the connection between the programming that’s right for your goals and the programming that’s right for your ideal lifestyle. No matter what your goals are though, proper programming and progression is ABSOLUTELY VITAL to achieving your goals. This is undeniable.
