[Scroll Down for the YouTube Video] Something I notice a lot of competitors do post-show is expect themselves to meet the same standards for themselves that they had or were meeting on prep This can really set athletes up for failure because each season is different! Improvement season is not prep and your expectations and standards need to change with your season So, if you're struggling post-show ask yourself:
Now that doesn't mean you completely change who you are or the athlete mentality and commitments you make to yourself In fact we want to utilize your strengths and those characteristics that supported you in prep to support you in your improvement season. It means we create congruency within ourselves to cultivate it across seasons as well Try asking yourself:
