People thrive on routine as it helps us reorient to the day.
When we don’t create a routine, we fall into one.
Instead of making the conscious effort to connect with your body or mind at the start of the day you might scroll on social media or hit snooze multiple times.
Rather than enjoying a nourishing meal you prepped the day before you grab whatever’s in the break room.
As you’ve gotten used to certain creature comforts they become more and more cyclical.
They determine your day and keep you feeling connected to reality.
If you implement new habits or behaviors it might be hard at first but it’s worth it to support you in orienting yourself before trying to figure out what’s happening in the world around you.
Preparing your mind and body to cope or handle or manage what the day brings is the least you can do for yourself.
Setting up a routine that not only supports you in taking on your day but also in creating a new reality is so important to result generation.
What you repeat is what technically makes up your life. So be sure that what you do the most often is creating the life you want to have and are happy to live in. It’s not just about the next thing but also about the now, establishing routines you enjoy and which serve you are great for longevity in your pursuits.
