[Fall More in Love with Yourself in 10 Minutes a Day]
Use this powerful exercise to fall more in love with your body and yourself in under 10 minutes I want to share a quick and powerful tool you can use every day to fall more in love with yourself and your body daily. Your body is so much more than a shape, size, color, or build. Your body is a miracle machine that supports you in everything you do, even if you neglect it it will work tirelessly to support your survival on this planet. Your body deserves to be treated with love and recognized for everything it does for you. Unfortunately, so many people equate body love to the shape of their body which just isn't the whole picture. I want you to feel love for your body for everything it does, is, and embodies. When we can truly love ourselves and embrace ourselves, the possibilities are ENDLESS as we move through the world with more love and gratitude in our hearts to radiate out onto others. The exercise I am sharing with you today is really simple and usually takes 10 minutes or less depending on the depth of which you take it, though you are not limited to just 10 minutes and should do it for as long as you like. Now, I recommend setting aside some quiet alone time for yourself the first time you do this as it can become emotional, though once you go through it a couple times, it becomes second nature and you can even tap into this energetically throughout the day (I will explain this later, just focus on the exercise for now). This is a step by step process I take myself through and have taken my clients and members through that I just really felt called to share with the world today, so here it is; STEP 1: Get Comfortable and Relax (I like to lay down but whatever feels good for you is perfect) STEP 2: Close Your Eyes STEP 3: Take 3 Deep Belly Breaths with Slow Exhalations (You can even place your hand on your heart if you like) STEP 4: Go through each body part, yep, from your toes allllll the way up to the hairs on your head and recognize at least one thing you love about them. STEP 5: Conclude the exercise with a self-hug or some sort of anchor of positivity, even an arm squeeze will do while saying; "I love you body for all that you do for me. I love you for keeping me safe and giving me the opportunity to experience physical life as a unique and beautiful soul. I love you for providing for me each day as the miracle you are. I love you" Or whatever feels right for you. STEP 6: Slowly wiggle each body part and take some quicker deep breaths to reawaken yourself. Once you become more used to this, you can really use it anywhere you go or anytime you feel yourself hating on your body you can replace that loathe with love and move on. Maybe while shopping, or eating, or looking in the mirror, or scrolling on social media, or in line at the store, you can practice this ANYTIME, ALL the time! It really can just become a daily thought pattern for you. I decided I would put together some affirmations for most body parts that you could use to support you in this too. Feel free to print this out for your meditation and add to it with what feels good for you. (You can also email me back and I can send you this as a word doc or PDF too). I highly recommend you connect with yourself BEFORE using these but this could give you some ideas as to how to go about this. -Toes, I love you for keeping me balanced as I walk and move through my day. -Feet, I love you for giving me a strong base to hold my body. -Legs, I love you for staying strong with me all day and allowing me to sit, stand, walk, run, and move with more ease. -Butt, I love you for giving me such a comfortable place to sit. -Stomach, I love you for digesting my foods and processing what I need so I can have the energy necessary to face every moment of my day. -Chest, I love you for protecting my heart and lungs so well so that I can feel protected and safe in my adventures. -Arms, I love you for the strength you give me to carry the things I need and love, hug people around me, and reach out to those in need. -Hands, I love you for feeding me, holding what I need, and always giving me something to do. Shoulders, I love you for allowing me to reach up and over my head. -Back, I love you for giving me the ability to sense everything deeply, carry things, and stand tall with confidence. -Head, I love you for holding my brain and providing me with functioning eyes to see, mouth to eat, ears to hear, nose to smell, and hair to keep me warm.) I know there is a reason I felt called to share this today and I hope you have found it helpful. Are you going to try it? Let me know!
