Fearing What You Need Most

I notice many people fear what they need most. Fearing taking a leap of faith, taking time to grow, learning more, and the list goes on.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If we are truly seeking growth, we must recognize and find joy/comfort in the resistance necessary to harvest this growth. Consider these examples:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A person wants to grow a business but doesn’t want to make an offer.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A person wants to build more muscle but doesn’t want to eat more or leave the shreds.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A person wants to love themselves more but doesn’t want to sit in their own energy for even 3 minutes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
WHATEVER it is you are looking to achieve, whatever that identity is of the person whom you are becoming, whatever that may be...remember that in the glory of the achievement was the sweat of the grind.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It doesn’t have to be painful or uncomfortable...in fact, it can be quite joyful when we actually embrace it for what it is; another required action step moving us closer to our desired results.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you can commit to consistency, then you can expect results...if you can commit to the plan, then you can expect to learn and see improvements.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To those of you out there working toward a better body or a better lifestyle... start by drawing comparisons & plans only to/for yourself and your own journey.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you expect to get results in 4 weeks (or even a year) the way someone who has been putting years of energy and effort into their results then you’re missing the whole point.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Stepping into your BEST self and BEST identity does not come from a wavering shift in ones being...it comes from an embodiment of new standards, principles, beliefs, and action steps.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The process is not here to make you miserable, it’s here to serve as a beautiful reminder that what you’re doing is not only worth it but it is an inevitable necessity for ‘it’ whatever ‘it’ may be.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you are someone who desires change but does not have any desire to pursue it through the less glamorous parts, then seek new change or switch up your approach.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The most amazing thing is that all of this can be savored when we pause to realize that rushing it not only hurts us but it belittles the process that is actually most fulfilling.
