![]() How much water should you drink...? If you are: Slightly active: 3-8 oz cups of fluid per day (24-64 oz) Active: 8 or more cups of fluid per day (64+ oz) If exercise is prolonged and intense: Before exercise: at least 16 oz. During exercise: at least 4-8 oz every 15-20 min After exercise: at least 24 oz. If you feel thirsty you are on the verge of dehydration, so be sure to drink accordingly so you don't lose necessary fluids and electrolytes. Avoid fizzy or caffeinated drinks during exercise. The amount of water varies based on your size as well. Make sure to listen to your body throughout this process. I recommend to my clients that when looking to increase your water intake do so with 8-16 oz. per day or every other day (whatever feels better) Until you reach desired amount! NEVER STOP HYDRATING Was this helpful? Let me know what else you would like me to share in this space to help you on your journey <3 ALSO: On days where I struggle to drink water I use lemon or an all natural water enhancer (most on the market are filled with chemicals or artificial flavors so if you would like to me to point you in the right direction let me know). I also love drinking tea and lemon water. I have gotten in the habit of starting every morning with at least 32 ounces of lemon water before eating (helps with digestion and gut health and bloating etc)
