![]() THE DAILY RITUAL THAT HAS BEEN MAKING MY LIFE MORE MEANINGFUL, INTENTIONAL, AND INSPIRED! I AM SO FRIKKIN EXCITED TO FINALLY BE SHARING THIS WITH YOU! A few years ago I hired a mindset mentor and began a really powerful morning routine which I shared in this blog post. But I realized, after some time, I was doing it with poor energy/intentions. I decided to let it go entirely as I felt it was totally holding me back, I talk about it in this blog. I recently discovered I was craving it again. I knew it could propel me forward in my life but I had so much resistance to it given some of the things I experienced with the person who helped me learn so much about this. However, when I let that go and just honored the incredible power it has, I decided I had to do it on my terms. I asked myself, if I could make the perfect daily ritual that would inspire me to complete it every day, that I would look forward to, and which would make me feel good for the day while trusting my abilities to manifest anything I desire...WHAT WOULD IT LOOK LIKE? This is how I created my own ritual. And let me tell you, it feels sooooo good to do it every morning. I decided to share it today because a few weeks ago I asked on my Instagram stories if they would like to see it and many people said YES. But even more so than that, I asked myself today, 'how can I make an immediate impact on the world today?' and I thought I could share this :) So, first things first. I had to lay some ground rules. I am a VERY all or nothing person which sometimes hurts me because I can become very judgmental of myself or be very upset if I do not complete something I set out to complete. I set the a few intentions around the ritual:
I set these intentions as ways to address the reasons I had stopped before. It was a great way to make sure I didn't sabotage myself again. I didn't want to resent the ritual so to speak. So, here's what I do, in a day, every day! (this does not include every detail of my day, or habits I like to have or reinforce, this is what I use to get in a positive state, take care of me, and just feel connected to my higher self) REMEMBER: there is no particular order, some of it definitely feels better to do first thing in the morning though, but just feel it out for yourself :)
This is what I do every day, unless I feel like I am going to do it with negative or 'have to' energy. I am not mean to myself about it and I let it flow. I connect to my soul values and beliefs and truly allow myself to enjoy each of these things. It may seem like a lot but it is honestly whatever you make it. Try not to put yourself in a box or limit yourself either. I did a 5 min yoga routine upon waking this morning instead of just my usual stretch and breathe in bed. I saw this as a gain, not a loss of time for other parts of the routine. At the end of the day, we need to ENJOY ourselves and our life on our journey to ever-evolving self-actualizations.
