Make Your Life More Meaningful and Feel More Connected to your Soul with My New and Improved Daily Ritual

THE DAILY RITUAL THAT HAS BEEN MAKING MY LIFE MORE MEANINGFUL, INTENTIONAL, AND INSPIRED!

I AM SO FRIKKIN EXCITED TO FINALLY BE SHARING THIS WITH YOU!
A few years ago I hired a mindset mentor and began a really powerful morning routine which I shared in this blog post. But I realized, after some time, I was doing it with poor energy/intentions.  I decided to let it go entirely as I felt it was totally holding me back, I talk about it in this blog.

I recently discovered I was craving it again.  I knew it could propel me forward in my life but I had so much resistance to it given some of the things I experienced with the person who helped me learn so much about this.  However, when I let that go and just honored the incredible power it has, I decided I had to do it on my terms.

I asked myself, if I could make the perfect daily ritual that would inspire me to complete it every day, that I would look forward to, and which would make me feel good for the day while trusting my abilities to manifest anything I desire...WHAT WOULD IT LOOK LIKE?

This is how I created my own ritual. And let me tell you, it feels sooooo good to do it every morning. I decided to share it today because a few weeks ago I asked on my Instagram stories if they would like to see it and many people said YES. But even more so than that, I asked myself today, 'how can I make an immediate impact on the world today?' and I thought I could share this :) 

So, first things first. I had to lay some ground rules.  I am a VERY all or nothing person which sometimes hurts me because I can become very judgmental of myself or be very upset if I do not complete something I set out to complete.  I set the a few intentions around the ritual:
  1. I would do as much of the ritual as possible every day but if I didn't get to all of it, it wasn't a big deal :) 
  2. I could do it at any time of day, throughout the day, morning, night, afternoon, every 30 minutes, TIMING DOES NOT MATTER BECAUSE TIMING IS HUMAN MADE AND HAS NO LIMITATION OR CONTROL OF MY ABILITY TO FEEL AMAZING OR MANIFEST ANYTHING.
  3. If I didn't feel like doing something on the list I would need to investigate if it was because there was resistance to the outcome it could bring me or because it would actually be draining and done only because "I felt like I had to"
  4. If I don't do it everyday, it is not the end of the world.  I used to let the journaling literally get in the way of me living my life, getting things done, or connecting with the people surrounding me. I even let it infiltrate into my relationships with loved ones and it became way tooooo much about control.
  5. If I want to change it up, I can, because my ability to manifest or feel amazing is not attached to me following an exact plan, it is free flowing, inspired, and empowered action.

I set these intentions as ways to address the reasons I had stopped before.  It was a great way to make sure I didn't sabotage myself again.  I didn't want to resent the ritual so to speak.

So, here's what I do, in a day, every day! (this does not include every detail of my day, or habits I like to have or reinforce, this is what I use to get in a positive state, take care of me, and just feel connected to my higher self) 

REMEMBER: there is no particular order, some of it definitely feels better to do first thing in the morning though, but just feel it out for yourself :)
  • EXPERIENCE AND TAP INTO GRATITUDE 
    • Some days this looks like journaling about 100 things, other days it could be 3 things that I spend a lot of time meditating on and feeling EXTREMELY honed in on in gratitude for
  • I AM STATEMENTS
    • I am statements all pertaining to my ideal reality, next level self, or the version of myself I am becoming
    • Only using positive words and statements
    • Some days it is the version of me in 20 years sometimes it is the version of me in two months
      • This choice usually comes down to where I feel I need to be more intentional and trusting as doing this helps me tap into the belief and true knowledge that it is taken care of already, I just have to open up to saying YES PLEASE and THANK YOU  to the universe for it:) 
  • WHAT AM I LOOKING FORWARD TO TODAY? (3+ things)
    • I decided to do this because when I was coming up with my new ritual I was feeling a bit lost in life, almost like I was being reactive rather than responsive and responsible
    • I felt a bit like every day was the same or there wasn't much excitement happening
    • I knew that by asking myself this question I would be able to either find excitement in my upcoming day that got me up and ready and excited about LIVING or it would give me some creative energy to come up with things that excite the hell out of me and make me WANT TO LIVE
      • believe it or not, my depression didn't disappear when I got into personal development, mindset work, and even therapy, BUT now I know how to make it better before it gets worse; this helps me a lot:))))))
  • 5 MINUTES (or more) BREATH / CONNECTION WORK
    • Usually I do some form of intentional breathing
    • Other times it might be a meditation practice
    • Just totally being in and present with myself and my needs
  • DRINK WARM LEMON WATER
    • Okay, this one is funny because I pretty much already always do this, but I put it on my ritual so that it can feel more like a conscious choice because sometimes I do skip it when it is so simple. Now I have just found a way to make it simpler :) --HOT Sink water!!! (sue me!)
  • SPEND AN EXCESS OF 5 MINUTES OUTSIDE
    • Nature is our healer;
      • Water: cleanses us
      • Air: reminds us there is power in what we cannot see and it breathes new life in us
      • Earth: grounds us to our abilities and new intentions/powers
      • Sun/fire: to me, it just warms me up, makes me feel good, and ignites new meaning and purpose in my life...I am not entirely sure on the exact symbolism of this and I think that sometimes it is better off this way since we can tap into the powers within us to have our own answers. 
      • These various parts of nature can represent and do different things for different people depending on our needs
    • Nature makes me feel more human
    • Nature reminds me that there is more to life than the gym, my computer, my business, and social media
  • SEND A MESSAGE OF LOVE TO SOMEONE 
    • This one is pretty self-explanatory
    • I find that I am very giving of love without it but it feels good to be intentional too
  • ASK MYSELF 3-5 FOCUS QUESTIONS
    • This is fun for creativity, deeper exploration of my own needs, evaluation of limiting beliefs, or just self-discovery
  • WRITE DOWN 1-3 SELF-LOVE STATEMENTS
    • This usually ends up looking like a letter to myself, it just feels good
      • Example: Dear Cel, I love that you invested so much time and energy into making this blog post more than just a what you do in a day and really shared your own vulnerabilities, stories, and reasoning behind it :) 
  • CONNECT WITH MY VISION BOARD FOR 2-5 MINUTES
    • It is always in my room in eye sight but to really connect with it is quite powerful.
    • This also lets me see what I am resisting in my life
      • When I find resistance, I try to address it through Chakras, affirmations, or belief shifting
  • READ FOR 5 OR MORE MINUTES (just for fun!)
    • This is a personal one really but if you have had a goal to read more, starting in small increments can be good
    • I used to read for speed and I realize I wouldn't get much out of this
    • I recognized that in my childhood I was rewarded for having a high lexile score, reading all the time, and reading 'big books with big words' lol.
      • This led me to want to receive more reward and praise by reading through a ton of books.
      • I always loved reading but sometimes lost the love
      • I want to feel as good about reading when I did when I was just a kid who loved it and wanted to be more like her dad.
        •  I felt best when reading "Junie B Jones" or "The Cat Who__" Book Series'
        • I have so many books that I have got, I tend to open a page I feel will help me most but sometimes I just want to read
    • Setting the 5 min or more standard allows me to just consume a page or a line or a word for as long as I desire or need to. Rather than saying 'I am going to read 100 pages every day' I am empowered knowing I can read even half a page and be satisfied knowing I was present with it and got a lot out of it :) 
  • WRITE DOWN MY TO-DO LIST / ACTION STEPS FOR THE DAY ASIDE FROM MY DAILY NON-NEGOTIABLES
    • I do this on my awesome 'Planning like a Boss' Planner I got at Kohls last Christmas time. I love it so much.

This is what I do every day, unless I feel like I am going to do it with negative or 'have to' energy.
I am not mean to myself about it and I let it flow.
I connect to my soul values and beliefs and truly allow myself to enjoy each of these things.

It may seem like a lot but it is honestly whatever you make it.

Try not to put yourself in a box or limit yourself either.

I did a 5 min yoga routine upon waking this morning instead of just my usual stretch and breathe in bed.  I saw this as a gain, not a loss of time for other parts of the routine.  

At the end of the day, we need to ENJOY ourselves and our life on our journey to ever-evolving self-actualizations.

Making your life more meaningful can have the following advantages.
1)Having a meaning in your life will make you healthier, fill you with energy and vitality.
2)A true purpose will make you more productive and perk-up your satisfaction level.
3)Discovering the meaning in your life will give you an opportunity to fulfill your human need for value and get satisfied with commotion.
I would like to tell that by having a purpose in your life, you can make your life more meaningful.
