![]() Post-Show has been going so well for me I usually update with check ins every week on my story but wanted to share this here... Believe it or not, you don’t always have to struggle after your competitions And if you think you do, it’s a sign that there’s more work to be done Inner work must align with our external effort to create a positive result on all levels If you’re a competitor, building a body will never be enough to sustain the body This is why my mission is to help other competitors make peace with food, their body, and their goals Because no matter how smooth your prep goes, how disciplined you can be in prep, or how well you’ve done for so long; if you’re struggling now, you need to address it It won’t just go away It doesn’t just get better after you experience it once (especially if not intentionally working through the underlying problems) You don’t have to wait till things get worse to do something about it Being preemptive in what could potentially sabotage your success is key to actually getting through it I may come across as partial or bias given the work I do and services I offer but I genuinely believe if more competitors were proactive in working through or on their relationship with food, their body, and their goals then there would be a lot more girls sustaining their results, feeling proud, and being at peace with their decisions As athletes we really need to look for the things that give us a leg up, help us be more efficient and productive with our results, and provide us with longevity! I have been through so much since starting my fitness journey let alone competition journey and I don’t think we need to subscribe to this idea that the struggle is the norm Sure it can & has taught me a lot, but there is power in being preemptive, proactive, & self-aware If you’re struggling, please know you’re no longer in this alone, you can reach out for help, & there are solutions for you Even if you never signed up to work with me in my post show program or food relationship program, joined my members platform, or went through any of the free programs or downloads I’ve created—I still encourage you to #BUILDMORETHANJUSTABODY
