![]() Something that changed my life and perspective years ago was journaling Specifically journaling statements that started with “I am” Looking back it’s amazing how many of the things I wrote “I am” before have now literally become who I actually am You may feel uncomfortable with it at first, as though you might be lying to yourself or making up stories Sometimes you begin to believe it much faster that other things Sometimes you have to work through a LOT of resistance to believe and achieve it (which is why coaches and mentors can be so influential) But overtime, working through those mental blocks and continuing to commit to the identity I wanted, the person I wanted to be, and now the growth continues I can remember writing things down that I wanted to achieve as though I already had “I am so happy and grateful Xyz has happened because now I am able to abc” Doing this can be a game changer What do you want to achieve? Who do you need to become to achieve that? When you journal in this way you are priming your mind to see it as very achievable and already part of your present reality It creates new upper limits in your mind too Then you can even do mindset work on your mindset work like now that i have achieved xyz I am committed to achieving xyz For example: I am so happy and grateful I placed first in my national show and won my pro card! Now I am committed to bringing my absolute best to my pro career and get on that Olympia stage by next year What you think about and focus on will continue to Influence your actions Because if you have written “I am ___” Then you will create an identity. And going against that identity will cause your brain to think “wait that doesn’t make sense if you are ___” Just journaling about emotions and feelings isn’t the same or as effective as intentional mindset work Want to uplevel your mindset? Try this! Send me a photo of your journal if you wish 🙂 Getting stuck? Reach out, I’m happy to help Creating the life you love is possible when you become the person who creates the life they love and has the life they love
