WE NEED TO TALK…
The relationship you have with yourself can & will show up in your other relationships…
If you cannot listen to, honor, love, and trust yourself, then others learn that this is the standard you set for how you see you are worthy of being treated.
Coming off the stage is a sensitive time as we begin to reevaluate our goals, plan for the next season, ease into building more muscle, and begin facing a new body in the mirror every day.
But have you ever noticed that your anxieties begin to show up in other parts of your life?
Like when you go out to eat with friends, family, or your love and can’t stop justifying/explaining every decision you make as to why you order what you do, when in reality, they never cared what you ordered, you are the only one judging yourself but now they do not know what to do around you because you are in your own world of panic and fear.
Or like when you go to the gym and someone makes a comment about how you are ‘getting bigger’ or ‘gaining weight’ and you take it so personally that it ruins your day and you can’t be the happy go-lucky person you normally are? When in reality, that person just doesn’t understand the sport or you and you are the one uncomfortable with ‘gains’ because it requires some fat too.
Or like when you don’t feel as sexy in your skin because you don’t have as many lines showing or as flat of a stomach as before, so you reject the possibility of sharing intimacy with your lover even though they miss you and you wish you could.
DO YOU SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING?
The chatter in your mind, the doubts, fears, and self-consciousness that stems as a result of your relationship with yourself, your needs, your actions, and your body all end up manifesting in your daily life and relationships.
Because, our energy is constantly sending out vibrational frequencies that repel and attract energies that it does not align with. If you are vibrating at a low frequency, guess what that means, you are going to keep attracting low frequency thoughts, people, things, and results versus if you were staying in a high vibe state and taking nothing less than the best into your own field!
What frequency are your thoughts and actions about your body, food, and exercise vibrating at and how is this impacting the rest of your life?
