![]() Sometimes the best thing we can do for ourselves is take a step back and have self-compassion When we have peace within us it allows us to create more external peace but usually people get it backwards and force things externally hoping it will bring them the peace they’re really seeking If you’re finding yourself constantly pushing or trying to force yourself to do something or be some way, try taking a breather and turning inwards The more love you have for yourself then the more likely it is that you will take loving action for yourself While willpower and discipline are positive tools to have in your toolbox, they don’t really have a use if you don’t have a solid manual to follow If you just keep trying to “be more disciplined” you’re building from a place that has no real positive reinforcement, results, or sustainability So instead of “getting back on track” ask yourself what part of the track could have led to you falling off so you can make necessary adjustments that allow you to keep moving forward with more ease & love Where are you currently mistaking an intrinsic need for self-love & compassion with an external application such as willpower or discipline or punishment? Need support working through these thought patterns so you can truly heal from within and allow every action after that to be guided in positivity?
