What Makes a Champion?

A champion isn’t born in a moment.

A champion isn’t even born from a process.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A ‘champion’, by definition, has beaten the rest of the competition, they’re the last one standing.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Everyone has a process, the champion is truly made from the execution of every step in the process.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You cannot become a champion without being a champion for the process.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You cannot become a champion by giving in when it gets tough.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You must rise to the occasion when others won’t.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You must choose to go further when others don’t.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Whatever you are becoming a champion in, be so focused on every detail that there is no doubt in the outcome that you brought your best, gave more than your all, and showed up as a new and improved version of yourself every damn day.

If becoming a champion was made for everyone then there would be no true champion, there’d be no more last man standing.

Step up and never give up because it’s not a matter of ‘when’ or ‘how’ it’s a matter of the right now and every moment following. The rest will take care of itself.

Own your journey.

Give everything you have and dig deeper for more then when you have one second left before it’s showtime, breathe and exude the champions mindset.

Because a champion only becomes a champion when they believe they have already won.

Repeat after me; I am a champion of every moment presented to me and I trust that in this process the rest takes care of itself exactly as it’s meant to be so long as I have given more than everything I have within me.

...I stepped up when I could have stepped down
...I said NO to ‘I have no more’ and said YES to ‘there’s always more’.
