It’s easier to keep going when what you do gets you going day in and day out.
If the things you are doing or committing energy to daily aren’t fulfilling you, serving you, or supporting your growth then quite frankly it’s a waste of your precious time.
The things you do to achieve your goals should challenge you, absolutely.
But make you feel terrible and pull you down or hold you back? NO WAY.
How is that conducive to overall growth?
Think about it like this, you want to look amazing and have an awesome body so you commit to Training and eating in ways that don’t even excite you or feel good to the point where you NEGLECT your internal goal of FEELING better and ENJOYING your lifestyle as it comes to you with ease and FITS you.
It’s easy to justify sacrifice in the journey to our goals but creating an imbalance or a lack in an effort to do so should NOT be justified.
Consider it like this, if you were walking down the street and saw someone who had only ever brushed their top row of teeth all their life wouldn’t you find that disturbing that they had every opportunity to control their outcome and give it their all yet they CHOSE not to because they were more concerned with the top row that SHOWED more than the bottom to be white that they neglected to spend time on their bottom row?
I know I’m being silly here but if you are only working on the physical attributes of which you and others see every day, then you are MISSING the big picture and therefore you are NOT improving at all because you’ve created a deficiency on your way to ‘ideal’ therefore not reaching ‘ideal’ at all.
