![]() 🤯PROVE YOURSELF WRONG👊🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ okaayyyyy I have something for you guys today that can be really powerful, effective, and best of all EYE OPENING! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m not going to try and trick you into doing this by saying something like “this quick exercise” or this “5 minute journaling session” because to be quite honest, this could take some of you MUCH more time than others and the measure of investment should not be based on the cost of time but rather the return of insight and value you gain💝 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So, you are probably very familiar with the little voice in your head that tells you what you can or cannot do based on who you are, I.E: “I can never stick to a plan” or “I am the worst when it comes to setting boundaries” etc. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Think back to a time where you accomplished something. It could be as small as tying your shoes or as big as putting yourself back out there on the dating scene. Whatever it may be, take note of it and applaud yourself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Now, Investigate all the limiting beliefs you probably had before doing that, all the: “I’ll never be able to tie my shoes!...I won’t be able to date again after this...”. And recognize how YOU proved YOURSELF wrong! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Harness that power, feel it, and KNOW that it lives within you RIGHT NOW and is accessible at ANY moment. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Okay, now consider all those little lies you repeat to yourself daily about who you are or are not...and ask yourself, “WHY have I decided that this is part of who I am?” Once you do some exploring there...make a commitment to yourself, a positive one and write it then speak it into existence. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Example of that part of exercise: I realize I always repeat that I am boring and don’t know how to talk to people, and I believe this because growing up I was always so different than everyone around me, NOW I COMMIT TO owning who I am and engaging in conversations with people to help me feel more connected to others. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you struggle with believing that these shifts ARE IN FACT POSSIBLE FOR YOU, then first make a list of all the times you ALREADY have proven yourself wrong and review it over and over and over again until you realize how frikkin amazing you are to have accomplished something even YOU didn’t believe you could. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Now imagine what kind of things you can accomplish when you CHOOSE to BELIEVE that you CAN and are already on your way to accomplishing your goals?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Feel free to send me a pic of your journal or message me your experience after this!
