![]() Looking back on old photos from my journey and thinking about how far I’ve come despite how much could have held me back teaches me a lot about myself and this journey I’ve been on. For reference, In the first photo I weighed about 15 pounds MORE than the second photo. It’s easy to want to compare my progress to others but what I’ve realized is how much I’ve accomplished between 2015 and now, not just with my body, but with my whole life too. It further highlights my mission on this earth to help others to build more than just a body too. While I am so proud of how far I’ve come, I still have a long way to go but seeing the journey and the payoff allows me to find more motivation and inspiration to continue moving forward, trusting the process, and making this a sustainable lifestyle that fulfills me, inspires me, and empowers me everyday while furthering my growth as a soul living in my purpose. You may feel like you haven’t made progress, you may feel like you never will, or maybe you feel like you can’t but trust me, if you’re showing up for yourself and putting in the work to find what serves you then the results are ALREADY happening. Take some progress photos, take some measurements, and prove yourself wrong. You’ll look back at the start of your journey or even just different parts of it and you might laugh, cry, or be totally surprised by yourself. I’m glad I have been documenting my progress and highly encourage everyone to do so, not only with photos of their body but mental checks as well. I’ve totally transformed mentally and emotionally between these two photos as well with healing my relationship with food, my body, and so much more.
