In this episode, Celeste Rains-Turk speaks with Robyn Maher, an IFBB pro who is a Fitness and Nutrition Expert who has been featured on national and local TV. She graduated from BYU with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. She is also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist, BFR certified coach, YogaFit 300 hour certified instructor, NPC judge and coach, plus she’s the Promoter of Utah’s first-ever ProAm bodybuilding competition: IFBB/NPC Salt City Showdown. As a single working mom with 3 active teens, full time coach & trainer, plus a professional athlete, we had a lot to discuss.

More than ever shared on here before when it comes to what the judges expectations are and what the NPC expects of the judges along with how judges are picked for certain shows and so much more. Robyn shares with us EXACTLY what it is like from the judges point of view. She tells us everything from politics, scoring, judges job criteria, and those little things that bother the judges that competitors do.

She also opens up about her fight against her own genetics, troubles with thyroid and hormonal imbalances, bloodwork results, a never ending period, finding a mass in her uterus, and getting a hysterectomy. She shares some of the habits she maintains as a busy woman and what inspired her to commit her life to helping others get healthy.

Robyn discusses why you should always seek to be in competition with yourself and stay away from comparing yourself to others. As a posing coach, judge, and competitor she talks about the best things to focus on when practicing posing. She also shares the importance of having respect for the judges, sport, and other competitors.

In this episode, host Celeste Rains-Turk, has an enlightening, fun, light, and juicy conversation with Eboney Chipman, a one of a kind woman who was born in the Bahamas but now lives in Vancouver where she turned pro in 2012 at the Canadian Nationals, and travels with the organization Her Time as a public speaker.

Eboney gets real about the extremes of competing, including the things that shall not be mentioned. She tells us about the scary parts of prep, the beauty in it, and the comfort in shifting gears.

Eboney's prep life is very different from her improvement season and she talks about what she has done to improve her life through meditation, mindset, personal development, and staying in alignment with what she wants and what feels good.

She tells us about her passions and life outside of competing and how she determines when a good time to prep is or not. She talks about finding the right coach, and how going pro impacted her perspective on herself as an athlete.

Eboney opens up about the friendships made in the sport, how she has grown in her life, and discovered that she could put so much emphasis on more than her physical being.

In this emotional episode, host Celeste Rains-Turk, speaks with Tianna Wesselmann, who started her fitness journey when she was a junior in college transforming her party days into gym sessions, her bodybuilding career started in 2013 and by 2017 earned her pro card at junior nationals in Chicago which was a show that meant a lot to her. This woman faced a lot of adversity growing up but found her faith, worth, and drive which helps her stay disciplined and success as a competitor.

Tune in to hear what Tianna thinks of social media, how to avoid the pressures that comes with the sport, and what challenges she faced that made her stronger than ever. She shares how she lets go of expectations, keeps her head up, doesn't concern herself with other competitors game plans, and stays focused even when she isn't competing.

Tianna opens up in a raw and vulnerable way as she shares the loss of her college boyfriend who started this whole journey with her. She talks about what it was like growing up without money and how this influences her success today. Tianna even shares how she finds happiness, passion, and motivation to stay healthy and be consistent outside of the stage.

In this episode, host, Celeste Rains-Turk, speaks with the #2 Bikini Athlete in the world, 23 year old, Lauralie Chapados, AKA 'the dark horse', because she came out of nowhere and crushed her 2018 season landing her a spot at the Olympia where she earned second place. When this episode was recorded she was prepping for the Arnold Classic and next heads to the Arnold Australia.

Lauralie opens up about her struggles as an amateur with finances, work, and pressures of coaching herself. She shares openly about her journey to the pro level and the adversity she faced to win it in Canada. Lauralie tells us about how she got into competing at such a young age, what she thinks about heading into every competition, and what her game plan is for this season.

She discusses the impact of personal life changes, quitting her job, and pursuing her dream as being an elite athlete. Lauralie tells us what her feedback has been and what she is currently working on to bring something the judges have never seen her bring before. Lauralie even brings up the opportunities and dream life she has been able to achieve through having faith in her dreams and taking a leap of faith. She has no regrets, loves every day of her life, and is finding ways to be even more of an ambassador for the sport.

Lauralie teaches us some of her posing tricks, her approach to building muscle, and the mental challenges and rituals she has before shows.

She is a humble, sweet, and intelligent athlete and I am so excited for you all to hear this episode.
