The Confessions of a Bikini Pro Podcast was established in May of 2018 as the first and only place where IFBB Bikini Pros share their struggles, strategies, stories, insights, and advice in a real, raw, and vulnerable setting. Host, Celeste Rains-Turk, dives into the parts of these professionals' lives that aren't always openly discussed in the public eye or on social media (You know, the stuff we tend to wonder about the most).

The goal of this podcast is to educate, inspire, and remind other competitors, athletes, or the average gym goer that even the most elite professionals face hardships, health problems, mental obstacles, and other adversities.

There are a wide range of topics discussed including, but DEFINITELY NOT limited to; post-show rebound, health complications, eating disorders, mental illnesses, winning mindset, dealing with losses, judges feedback, approaches to the stage, life outside of competing, money, relationships, philosophy, pursuing passions, and SO MUCH MORE!

All show notes, episode time stamps, links, and information can be found on www.celestial.fit/podcast

Separate Worth from Outcome

March 16, 20262 min read

How to Separate worth from Outcomes👇

1) Know that the outcome is momentary but not all encompassing of you

2) Ground yourself in something bigger than you such as an identity in faith. This world is fleeting but Jesus love is not

3) Focus on daily execution and follow through. You’ll quickly see you are beyond worthy day to day and the outcome is nothing but a blip in time

4) Tap into humility. Recognize that there is no title that keeps you from pursuing better because we can all improve and people at the top just have bigger targets on their back. Plus, the next outcome could be completely different so getting attached to the idea of always being on top is limiting

5) Decide before an outcome or show or competition is announced that you’re proud of yourself and content with your performance if that is the case. Do an evaluation before the outcome so whether it’s number 1 or 16, you’ll be evaluating yourself through a lens of passion and love for the game

6) keep in mind there has never been a show where at the end of it the judges determine their choice based on who worked the hardest. It’s subjective and even if they did line everyone up on work ethic, it would still be subjective because what one person is impressed by (maybe an 18 year old with tons of discipline to execute on this) could be different than the next person (who is maybe more impressed by the single mom with full time job still finding a way) but both are incredible and doing a great job. So remembering that judges are subjective and only you can know if you ticked the box day after day or not

If competing is harder for you because of the judging and comparing and you want support with improving your mental game, I have a full workshop on mental performance for excellence you can purchase. Just message me for details. Or if you’re looking for more 1:1 support dm me or visit www.celestial.fit linked in my bio:@celestial_fit
