The Confessions of a Bikini Pro Podcast was established in May of 2018 as the first and only place where IFBB Bikini Pros share their struggles, strategies, stories, insights, and advice in a real, raw, and vulnerable setting. Host, Celeste Rains-Turk, dives into the parts of these professionals' lives that aren't always openly discussed in the public eye or on social media (You know, the stuff we tend to wonder about the most).

The goal of this podcast is to educate, inspire, and remind other competitors, athletes, or the average gym goer that even the most elite professionals face hardships, health problems, mental obstacles, and other adversities.

There are a wide range of topics discussed including, but DEFINITELY NOT limited to; post-show rebound, health complications, eating disorders, mental illnesses, winning mindset, dealing with losses, judges feedback, approaches to the stage, life outside of competing, money, relationships, philosophy, pursuing passions, and SO MUCH MORE!

All show notes, episode time stamps, links, and information can be found on www.celestial.fit/podcast

Competency for Confidence; Change your Affirmations

Competency for Confidence; Change your Affirmations

If you want to achieve excellence, you have to start with your mind! I have spent years coaching athletes on the mentality needed for high performance.

Whether it is a competitor's food relationship, body image, or self-talk; we have to build competence. Competence separates the confident from the arrogant.

While affirmations can be nice and feel good, nothing really beats KNOWING fully that you have done what you need to do in order to bring your best.

I like to think about when I played volleyball. Many of us had a mental anchor, whether it be behavioral like how many times we bounce and spin the ball before we serve or verbal like going through the cue of how many steps in an approach before hitting would help with timing.

It is not enough to say "I am going to do amazing on stage" but instead we need to give our brain evidence that this is likely to be true.

This leaves no room for doubt, invites visualization, and capitalizes on the efficacy you have built.

If you want to be a high performing competitor who doesn't feel defeated by placings or their own mind, work with me.

I have an on demand mindset coaching platform that is built to walk you through whatever struggle you are facing in the moment (think of it like a mentor in your pocket) as well as my 1:1 coaching programs such as my food relationship healing program focusing on body image and both binge and restrict or fears and beliefs with food or overeating behaviors as well as body image.Or of course just 1:1 coaching for your mental game.
