The Confessions of a Bikini Pro Podcast was established in May of 2018 as the first and only place where IFBB Bikini Pros share their struggles, strategies, stories, insights, and advice in a real, raw, and vulnerable setting. Host, Celeste Rains-Turk, dives into the parts of these professionals' lives that aren't always openly discussed in the public eye or on social media (You know, the stuff we tend to wonder about the most).

The goal of this podcast is to educate, inspire, and remind other competitors, athletes, or the average gym goer that even the most elite professionals face hardships, health problems, mental obstacles, and other adversities.

There are a wide range of topics discussed including, but DEFINITELY NOT limited to; post-show rebound, health complications, eating disorders, mental illnesses, winning mindset, dealing with losses, judges feedback, approaches to the stage, life outside of competing, money, relationships, philosophy, pursuing passions, and SO MUCH MORE!

Loving Every Version of Your Body

January 09, 20261 min read

Loving my body is not exclusive to a particular physique I live in. Loving my body is about caring for the vessel gifted to me and now more than ever the body growing in me! Before bodybuilding I didn’t fully accept my body then after my first show I became jaded and realized I needed to work on my mind. Then after multiple more seasons of watching my body change I really learned to#BuildMoreThanJustaBodyand learned what it really means to embrace all the changes my body could go through. I made peace with food after struggling with binging and restriction cycles, competed while having a healthy relationship with my body and food, and improved my mental health which then allowed me to be the best I ever was in competing and be able face the first phase of motherhood, pregnancy, with more peace of mind and trust in myself. I don’t know how I would’ve navigated these changes had I not done the inner work first. A lot of women say they’re worried about how pregnancy will change their body and I think there would have been a time in my life where I worried about that too but thankfully when it came time my only real worry was in making sure the home I provide my baby is healthy and safe no matter what that meant I’d look like or weigh. If the concern keeping you from building a family or committing to trying to get pregnant is how your physique will be affected or fear of weight gain or changes to food and routine then we should absolutely talk and begin sorting through the mental blocks now so you can feel fully confident in yourself and your skin not just now but in every season to come.
