I remember when I would let how I thought my body looked because sometimes I saw it differently than it was in reality steal my joy. I would miss out on being present in meaningful moments. I was robbed from fun times like pool days, a group outing, outfits I wanted to wear, and the most sad…real connection with others. I lost connection with them because I was so in my head about how my body looked and felt this roll, the squeeze of my pants, my skin, How my physique looked to them.

When I changed my relationship with my body, and focused on being the best I could be while trusting that my physique would follow, so much changed for the better
�Enjoyed my plan and the daily efforts more
�I detached my worthiness and success from how my body looked and invested more of my energy into how my execution was
�My presence in conversations was so much deeper
�I even changed the way I got dressed…choosing outfits based not on what I thought ‘should fit me’ but on what did and also what I really just felt like wearing. I wasn’t forcing myself to wear heavy sweats to cover up if it was going to make me hot and uncomfortable
