Throughout the last 7 months my lifestyle has looked different. I stopped weighing myself every day (truly have only weighed in at the doctor but just put the batteries back in my scale which died right when I got pregnant lmao so I was like oh well!), I stopped tracking every meal and gram of food, I stopped forcing a workout day or even a workout routine.
I have been focused on honoring my body with nourishment that looks like a variety of options and I eat with consideration for carbs, proteins, fats and micros still but some days I only ate cereal🤷🏻♀️ and for months 3-5 I was pretty much super averse to chicken but then my first bowl of chicken and rice back was like heaven haha.
Mostly I have craved savory foods and went from having a piece of chocolate daily to like eh I’d rather not. I also switched from almond and oat milks to regular milk and even now have whole milk or half n half in my coffee.
I don’t do much caffeine and I will prioritize sleep over everything else that impacts health. I walk a lot more but not fast most days. I have had days where I workout from home with light work and then focus on pelvic floor and TVA or just very light weight and long tempos as though I’m holding the baby.
Right now I am sick and going on completing day 5 and it’s not improved and all I can do is try my best to rest.
My lifestyle of health and fitness, as I said in my other post, has been hugely positive for navigating pregnancy and staying active and fit.
My hope is that whatever season you’re in you respect the demands and goals of that season and do what needs to be done. It takes discipline, commitment, and mental strength to follow through accordingly even on harder days. You got this! Let’s#BuildMoreThanJustaBody🩵💜
