Lindsey didn’t realize how much her eating was intruding on her life until last year when she was just trying to do anything she could to get her life “back”.
She had gained weight, tried dieting to fix binging but didn’t end up stepping on a national stage like she hoped, saw her relationship with food get worse, and was ready to actually change the pattern of binging and restricting.
She reached out to me and I remember her telling me she wanted to step on stage again and she wanted to be able to say “I did it, I did it with complete peace with food and with confidence I made the correct decisions for my mind and body”.
I have no doubt she will be saying that when she steps on stage again as she is prepping now🙌🏻.
She didn’t want this to end her competing goals and knew that I could help her as I have many other athletes.
Lindsey trusted me and went all in to the process of the program.
Actually one of my favorite things about my work is the group coaching calls I host monthly for clients and members past or current and one time, Lindsey came on and was celebrating all her success and things she learned then I open up this document she gave me permission to share…entitled “brand new Mindset”.
It had 155 statements of lessons learned, commitments, knowledge, and more from the program that she took away.
And she willingly shared this vulnerable part of her journey later in the group with access to the document so others could benefit.
I was always excited to receive a daily check in from her and support her because she was transparent and did what she said she would.
It’s motivating as a mentor to see my clients succeed day in and day out &/or learn from hiccups too!
