Ever wonder where the post-show blues even come from and why they’re so common among athletes?
Although it can sometimes feel like something you need to hide in order to protect your competitor identity and appear to have it all together, it’s important to know there are probably tons of others going through it too
Even after years of competing, this last show brought some post show blues for me because I knew it was the end for me. But it also brought soooo many beautiful lessons.
And the blues didn’t last very long because I was so focused on the fulfillment of each day and finding happiness there as well as in the continued process of reverse dieting and training.
I also had a whole list of goals on a google doc that was really exciting for me to focus on toward the end of prep as a reminder that I have more to look forward to!
