PASSION & PURPOSE: why do you do what you do? Do you really love it?

If you don’t have passion for what you’re doing, why are you really doing it?
.
There’s a million reasons why people do things even when they don’t want to do it.
.
But I’m not sure listing even 5 of the most common would be as beneficial for you as you just getting really honest with yourself.
.
Once you know why you’re doing something, you must be prepared to come to terms with the reality of that...
.
Can you accept the answer?
Can you accept the decisions?
Can you accept the changes?
Can you accept yourself?
.
A lot of the ladies in my post-show personal development program came to a huge realization last week...
.
They realized that they started competing for the wrong reasons. Being able to acknowledge & admit this is HUGE
.
When we can be vulnerable with ourselves we create space for growth in our life.
.
I competed one time for the wrong reasons. It was my first show in 2015 and I learned so much from that.
.
But it didn’t stop me.
.
I sorted through the negative emotions from 2015-2017 & got back to myself and before doing 5 shows over 365 days.
.
Each of those shows with:
Fire in my belly.
Passion in my heart.
And a mindset of love, peace, acceptance, and gratitude.
.
I love this sport because I love who it makes me.
.
When I am challenged, I raise my awareness and work through those challenges.
.
If you are struggling with this, there may be a disconnect between your actions, your why, and your identity.
