When you love your body, you are naturally inspired to take care of your body
This does not mean you need to be jacked or shredded or bodybuilder mode
But movement, nourishment, mental health, rest, and seeking care when needed as well as proactively are all ways to love your body
Consider the fact that you don’t have to think about most of the processes of your body. They’re just happening to keep you alive
You can treat your body terribly and your body will fight tooth and nail to keep you alive
How magnificent is that?
We were created to get the most out of this life and give ourselves fully by being alive!!!
Caring for yourself is a way of saying thank you to your body for doing everything it has for you
I often see freckles I’ve had forever and smile lines that are getting deeper and calluses on my hands and think, wow, my body has been going through everything with me
Be engaged with your body instead of fighting against it and watch what it can do for you!
When you spend time listening, honoring, and loving your body you will be amazed at how much more responsive your body is
Your physique will respond according to what you do but how you feel about what you do and how consistent you are with that and how aligned you are to it will create a response that either does or does not last, get celebrated, or even seen as enough
