LOVING YOUR BODY doesn’t have to mean LOVING HOW YOUR BODY LOOKS

LOVING YOUR BODY doesn’t have to mean LOVING HOW YOUR BODY LOOKS

loving your body

Let the body changes be the bonus & the love be the PREREQUISITE

Challenge the belief that your body is not lovable when in fact, love comes down to action & you can love your body into a more peaceful, grounded, strong, enhanced space

There is nothing wrong with working to build a body you like looking at in the mirror more, BUT there is so much more to loving your body than that

We have been conditioned from a young age to look a certain way which can lead to extreme behaviors

What they don’t tell you is that if you love your body, you’ll naturally be inspired to care for your body & when you care for your body the aesthetics come more naturally

Treat love like a verb

You can love through movement, rest, nourishment, mental, physical & dental care, social connection, relational engagements, boundaries…

You can love your body by saying yes or no to certain things, actions, or people

You might set a boundary that you won’t allow someone to keep coming back in your life after multiple betrayals because you recognize the disruption this causes your nervous system

You might choose to let go of drinking alcohol because of the impact it’s been having on your mind & relationship

You could choose to nourish your body with certain foods to support overall function

Movement could look different based on what your body needs

You could start prioritizing sleep or time management to reduce the stress that’s been destroying your health

There might be boundaries around certain quick fix activities that plague your heart, mind, & body so you can hit the reset button & feel at peace with yourself & in control

There could be a deeper consideration for your psychology as you embark on a journey of healing, support, self-discovery, & application

If you are looking for support, I work with women & men globally using my formal education in psychology & clinical mental health counseling as well as my work as a national certified counselor, to the personal development coaching I provide to support you in making peace with food, your body, & your goals❤️
