Some days I have a really hard time. I sometimes get to a point where I forget those things. So today I thought, I could write it here incase you needed the reminder too.
Honestly, they often feel so trivial to say. Because when you’re really in the depths of darkness, often times you come up with everything that counters these statements
It’s difficult to believe them or see it that way when you feel like you’ve been fighting an uphill battle with yourself
Mentally it can be draining & often feel fruitless. That’s when you start to wonder what’s really the point at all?
I’m very grateful for my routine, support system, and the love of Jesus
I have found this week to be challenging in many ways but also answered prayer after answered prayer. When I experience these super lows it often feels like I cannot get out and will not. I get exhausted by myself and this makes me wonder how my loved ones might feel too… but I know I have to keep showing up
Do you ever struggle to see the good in things when life just feels heavy? How do you personally work through that?
I try to always remind myself that even in pitch black, our eyes will adjust and find light, it just takes time. This occurred to me when I was in a cave in Mexico and over time a light began to reveal itself to me. I thought I was going crazy because it was pitch black moments before. We were then informed that our eyes begin to adjust and can pick up more of the light. It really hit me in a more philosophical way, clearly
I hope you can find a little bit of light if it feels really dark. I know how hard it can be and how much time it can take. And how easy it is to forget the truths or the reality
