My Personal Reflections Before 2 Peak Weeks👇

It’s peak week for the @npccarolinanatural and I couldn’t be more excited to compete here! 

It’s been a year and a half since I moved to South Carolina so to say I’m excited to compete locally is an understatement! 

I attended this show last year so it gets me even more excited to get the athlete experience with @ascend.withus @lauren_adams_fit and @elite_performance_tanning

As I get closer to this show, it’s a reminder that I’m also close to the @pittpowerfit which will be where I compete for a spot in the IFBB pro league

I’m so so grateful for the opportunities being given to natural competitors in the NPC. I am amazed at the quality, caliber, and heart of all the athletes I’ve had the pleasure to compete with over the last 10 years and am so excited to share the stage for the next 2 weekends in a row with other incredible women

As I approach these two shows I am consistently reminded of how much God has blessed me in this journey. 

I have faced many personal peaks and valleys along the way but I persisted even at times I didn’t know if I still wanted to only because I knew there was a version of me that would never give up on her dreams

Turns out the real dream is in the discipline that has been used daily in the pursuit.

I can’t think of a better way to have spent my young adulthood from 18-28, bodybuilding has been my focus in all that I do. It has and continues to shape and form me.

The lessons are not done being learned, every day I am committed to learning more from this passionate pursuit 

I am blessed to be able to do this and truly am focusing on leaving it in God’s hands

If I try to take it into my own or even think that my way is better, it distracts me from HIS ultimate plan for my life. 

I want to be in the moment because the moment belongs to HIM❤️✝️
