Do you want to know why this prep means so much to me? let me share transparently what has been on my heart…

This prep represents a lot…my first prep as a wife, a step mom, an auntie, my first prep living in a new state therefore competing in new shows, my first prep where I’m not also a full time student

My first prep where I feel totally at peace with the outcome because my identity is truly rooted in Jesus Christ. 

The prep that is marking the end of one era and the start of a new one for my life🦋

And the pro qualifier I am doing is going to be on Mother’s Day which is especially special for me…my mom was one of my biggest supporters and encouragers🙏🏻

When she was alive, she came to all my shows up until she moved away and then died unexpectedly and traumatically in a way that has affected me more than could ever be conceptualized in words

I get to step on stage on Mother’s Day to compete for my pro card, honoring her true legacy…pursuing my dream with the same passionate pursuit she brought to all the dreams of her life 

I’ll walk off stage to my husband and step son and into a life of family building myself

This alone moves me and drives me every day. 

I want to carry her spirit on stage and I know she will be with me and then I want to continue to carry it with me in life beyond the stage

This season is about LEGACY… for me, the community, natural athletes, my family. 

Every day counts in honoring this season and the culmination of a decade of dedication to competing

It is not lost on me that being able to compete is a blessing. After almost 10 years of this, I still grow in gratitude, perspective, and love with this lifestyle

Thank you to everyone supporting me this season. It has and does mean so much more to me than you know
