Having @sirbubbatater has made life 10000000x better. I have been tearing up a lot lately thinking about what a good boy he’s been and is becoming. 🥹

Now when I see photos of him (my entire camera roll) I see my baby boy, my dog, the best addition to my little family!!! 

When we got him at the shelter we knew we couldn’t go home without him, I recall saying it wouldn’t feel right and I would feel awful knowing he was still there. 

It all makes so much more sense now. 

He’s the first dog I’ve owned as an adult and I can’t imagine the bond we are going to continue to build. 

I try to stay focused on the now but can’t help but think of all the life we will live together… shows, trips, lake days, pregnancy, babies, cousins all together, dog parties, step son launching into adulthood. all the things. 

It’s really so wild to think about. 

Dogs are there through the best and worst of times. I am glad this one belongs to us. He has my heart. I can’t even tell you how much joy he’s brought. 

I cried a lot out of stress in the first 3 days but now it feels like all the training is paying off. He’s becoming such a distinguished gentleman. The hard moments aren’t as hard because I see that we are growing together

Thank you all for loving on him and me through the journey of our life together already. 

Please tell me I’m not crazy for looking at him and just feeling and knowing God made him for our family
