Was your old plan really better?

April 11, 20251 min read

When it comes to trusting yourself without a ‘strict plan’ or when transitioning from a prep to improvement season or taking time off and worrying about how that will look...focus on the common denominators rather than the specifics

A lot of people get caught up in “rules” instead of commitments and standards.

A standard might say “I choose to nourish my body with consideration for my health in all areas of life” while a rule might say “I can only eat xyz foods to be fit and successful”

While the variables such as what you eat, how you train, and the plan you follow ABSOLUTELY matter, it is important to do what is sustainable...when figuring that out, emphasize the underlying habits rather than the protocol

Successful execution year after year or even day by day will be dependent on your intention, mindfulness, and consistency
