In the final exclusive episode of coach's week we sit down with Ingrid Romero and Joe Disciullo, the couple behind one of the largest teams in the world, Team Edge, they are the cohosts of the Chit Chat podcast and Edge Supps as well as the proud parents to their miracle babies who were born prematurely in 2011, twin boys Nicco and Gianni.

Ingrid became an IFBB bikini pro when she won the Overall at the Arnold sports festival in 2010, she is a highly sought after and published international model, influencer and trainer who has graced over 20 magazines including oxygen, muscle and fitness hers, iron man magazine, fitness rx and more. She founded Ingrid Romero bikinis in 2010 which is now one of the most successful and popular bikini lines in the fitness industry that I personally love wearing on stage. Ingrid is known as one of the best posing and fitness coaches all over the world training thousands of bikini competitors to win overall titles and helping hundreds of them to earn their IFBB pro cards.

Joe has over 20 years of experience in the industry coaching thousands of bikini and figure competitors to win overall titles and the prestigious status of IFBB pro along with helping lifestyle clients and athletes worldwide to improve their quality of life and achieve the body of their dreams. He has been Internationally recognized as one of the industry’s top training and nutrition coaches, with a background in Nutrition and Kinesiology along with several certifications, including NASM, ACE, and AFPA.

Tune in to hear about some of the reasons why social media can be so harmful to a competitor's overall image, life, and perceptions of bodybuilding. Joe shares why he doesn't believe IIFYM is always the best route but how he works with his clients to make it the best plan for them. Ingrid talks to us about body image, how she has been through her own ups and downs, and what she thinks about promoting positivity on social media above all else.

Joe opens up about why he doesn't actively use social media, what he recommends to athletes who compares themselves online and how Ingrid helps women shift their perspective, and Ingrid shares how social media can mislead people to hire the wrong coaches.

Together we discuss the importance on focusing on the inside, why focusing on nutrition is so important to health, and how surprised some women are to see how much they need to be eating.

Joe and Ingrid talk about what makes a true champion, how much of an influence genetics has in making an athlete successful, and truly living like an athlete. They share how important it is to trust your coach and be logical in your execution, looking within when there is a problem, sharing responsibility for wins and losses, and the pressure that comes as a coach and an athlete when preparing for a show.
