I want to preface this week by saying every coach I am bringing on is a professional with their own achievements, education, and experience. Many of them you will recognize as well-known names.
If I could fit every amazing coach in the bikini competition world on the show, we would have a whole other podcast, but I am so excited about the coach’s I will be conducting these interviews with.
None of the coaches have paid to come on and there will be as limited bias as possible.
Every episode will contain the same set of questions for the coach’s until the end or little moments throughout the episode where we might expand on 1-3 extra topics I have prepared just for the specific coach.
This is all about getting some serious understanding about who these coaches are, what their philosophy is and even asking them questions others might be afraid to ask them.
The intention is for you all to learn not just about them and their style but also learn from them and their expertise.
This is not a popularity contest, a who is better than who, or a which is the right way fight, this is about truly highlighting the individual strengths and systems each of these coaches have to offer competitors in their own passionate way because we all know everyone is different and so are these coaches.
I am so grateful to have had the chance to interview another great group of coaches supporting athletes in their bodybuilding
Every coach/team brings a unique perspective, valuable and implementable information, as well as their own personalities to the table as they discuss their approach!
The coaches’ series is intended to not just provide info on these coaches but also provide great questions & considerations for you to bring to any of the coaches you are considering working with or even to your current coach!
The first coaching series can still be found in the podcast blog categories or just by scrolling through the episodes on your favorite streaming platform!

You are the client!! You deserve the coach relationship that beat suits and serves you
It’s awesome to see how some girls jive with one coach over another and I love how these coaches strive for that too
Make sure to visit the show notes each day of the week for each individual episode to see a full breakdown of their time stamps, perspectives, and ways to connect with them!
This Round You Will Hear From:
Nicole Ferrier
Amy Ehinger and Chris Nicole of Glam Girl Bikini
James Ayotte, Jennifer Dorie, and Angeline Jeanson of Team Atlas
Adam Atkinson Of See You Later Leaner
Hilary Giuda-Philpott of HGP Elite
Lauren Dannenmiller and Kyle Burns of Team Cosmic Bodies
I asked each coach the same questions with the exception of specialty questions designed based on the coach/team to highlight their uniqueness as well as any branch off questions to dig a bit deeper
ALL THE QUESTIONS I ASKED EVERY COACH:
Philosophy Round:
How would u summarize your coaching philosophy?
What kind of mental physical and even emotional toll does coaching take on you? How do you handle these types of demands?
What do you think makes a coach a ‘good’ coach or team a good team?
What do you think is the difference between a good athlete and a phenomenal, winning champion athlete?
How do you determine how far to push an athlete?
Do you feel that natural athletes have a chance at success in the NPC if they do not have the genetics?
What are some things you would recommend girls ‘look out’ for before deciding to hire someone? What are questions you wish potential clients would or would not ask you to determine if it is going to be a good fit?
What do you have to say to the people who say politics with teams plays a role in their client’s placing? Or that all of this is political?
How do you make your client’s hormone health a priority?
Any pet peeves with being a coach as well as in the industry?
How do you manage your focus or prioritize your time and energy when you have or if you had multiple top performing pros?
Hypothetical Round:
If I am 1 year into competing with a few overall wins under my belt and my goal is to get my pro card and I have never stepped on the national stage and have been working with the same coach for 1 years but was looking for a new approach why would I hire you?
If I am 4 weeks out from a show and keep saying I don’t feel ready, but you believe I am, what is your response?
Lets say someone comes to you wanting to compete or considering it, what is something you want them to know before they compete?
Your client comes to you and says they have rebounded after their show and just wants to reverse it and get back to normal, what do you do from a nutrition and training perspective?
Someone’s physique is on point and they have been nailing everything in their plan but their posing is lacking and they haven’t been practicing, do you put them on stage?
Rapid fire answer with 1 sentence or less then they can pick some to expand on
Waist trainers
IIFYM /Flexible Dieting or meal plans
Fasted cardio?
Water Cut
Steady state or HIIT?
Best supplements for competitors
Ever fired a client?
Anything I didn’t ask you that you think I should have?
