In this episode, Host Celeste Rains-Turk, connects with Nicole Engman, a 35 year old administrative assistant for career and technical education for Alpine school district who is married to a professional bodybuilder, mom to two boys, and who went pro at her 19th competition.

Tune in to hear how Nicole and her husband overcame many challenges from losing her brother to addiction to grieving other family members and pets. Nicole vulnerably shares her perspective on addiction and those who suffer.

Nicole shares how she has been able to fall in love with bodybuilding, how she got into lifting, what she did to build so much muscle, and how she has been able to avoid burnout.

She also talks about how she was able to begin embracing her body after having two 10lb babies that left her with stretch marks all over her body. Nicole talks about getting a tummy tuck, looking past the scars, and putting a bikini on for the first time.

Nicole talks about what it is like to be married to a professional bodybuilder, how their kids feel about the sport, and what kind of judgement she has moved through from others by going within and looking at her own judgement.
