In this episode, Celeste Rains-Turk chats with Noora Mahonen, 22 year old  Olympia qualified competitor who earned her pro card in July of 2018 and went on to place 2nd at her pro debut and has since won two pro shows. 

Noora talks about what got her into competing and how she stepped on stage for the first time at 17 years old. She shares what she has had to focus on given her body type and what she has done to level up since turning pro. 

Noora gives us some insight into what she learned from gaining 20 kilos in 2 weeks after one of her shows and how it impacted her preps. Celeste and she get into the impact of mindset work in physique sport longevity. They even discuss why finding a plan that you love is important and how to change your mindset to overcome pressure. 

Celeste asks Noora what it was like to go from getting second callouts one month to being Olympia qualified the next and how her perspective in the gym and with food has changed since knowing she would be on one of the most prestigious stages in bodybuilding.

Noora mentions how working with Breena Martinez was a game changer for transforming her posing and presentation and how often she practiced her posing to nail it. She also discusses what she does to maintain a full look when her body wants to get lean and flat so quickly.

The two get into Noora's usual day to day life, her love of travel, what she does when training 2x a day and how her shoot with JM Manion for the Miami Beach shoot was.
