Unexpected heath Challenge

Unexpected heath Challenge

January 13, 20251 min read

Having an unexpected health challenge certainly puts things in perspective. I’m so grateful to my body, my mind, my lifestyle.

It doesn’t make us invincible but it gives us a healthy outlet and habits

I can’t say I’m thrilled about being in rough shape right now from the hemifacial spasms and also having no answers to cause or treatment as I await an MRI on Tuesday but I CAN say I’m so happy I have shows to look forward to

I’m not letting this stop me. I pushed physically this week but the rest of the week will be a lot of resting because my condition seems to be worsening but the workouts are so empowering for me so I hate the thought of it affecting that but let’s be honest, I am not as strong when my face has been flexing all day and my body just feels weak

I’ve been through much worse in my life and it taught me the value of showing up

I am now learning the value of slowing down and being ok with taking time out.

Taking it hour by hour I’m doing the best I can and that’s truly all I can do!

With 12 weeks until the hopeful first competition of my season, I am trying to focus on what lies ahead that’s positive instead of spinning in the “what if’s” but that’s tough in a normal time let alone a time like this

Thanks for all your love and support

I hope this serves as a reminder that you have to
#BuildMoreThanJustaBody so you can have fulfillment and peace in the path God has for you
